Helpful staff and good location right near a shuttle station. The free breakfast was nice and a great way to fuel up for a day of skiing. Having the ski hire within the lodge made it really convenient as well. The drying rooms were much appreciated and we were very grateful to be able to store our luggage in the storage room after we checked out.

It was large and fitted our two families with teenage children well. The mattresses were comfy and not too firm like many places we’ve stayed at before. The chalet was lovely and warm with plenty of heating. The drying room was fantastic to hang up all our ski gear to be dry for the next day. It was located a few minutes walk to the village for all of the skiing activities. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals.

Roam is a beautiful house with fantastic views. We didn't want to leave!
The location is great for Mt Buller, but since there was no snow we had to do other things, of which there are plenty to keep you busy. Hiking, wineries, picnic spots etc.
The renovated Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort is located in Merrijig, in Victoria’s High Country, half-way between Mansfield and the popular alpine ski resort of Mount Buller, around 25 km from both.
Go elsewhere.
Lift pass—B Tag—Park access fee—carpark to accommodation transport fee—Chain hire fee—Expensive accommodation —snow gear hires—flight—rental car... I went through all the hurdles. But then I was a few days early for the real snow. Snowboarding on the ice wasn't fun more over so many people.

The resort is well-organized and thoughtfully laid out.
The resort is well-organized and thoughtfully laid out. There's a convenient shuttle service within the village to avoid steep climbs and descents. Food prices are significantly higher than those in Melbourne City, so it's advisable to bring your own provisions. A one-night stay is sufficient to enjoy the incredible scenery, snow, and skiing opportunities this place has to offer.

Although there was not much snow in Oz this year, Mount Buller had a couple of lovely slopes. Of course it was crowded, all skiers and snowboarders on four slopes but people were considerate and cautious. Queueing at lifts for groups can easily be approved by reducing the three side lanes for single/private/ski school to two (singles & private/school combined), or by doing what Thredbo does: group of three, add one single, group of four get on. In Mount Buller the groups seem to have to wait till the single/private/ski school lane are empty before a group can enter the lift.

Loved the live music in the village centre - we had a lovely lunch of chicken roll and salad we bought at the supermarket along with disposable cutlery plates and enjoyed a winter " picnic " in the village - one of the highlights
.we loved our visit to the aust sled dogs our time with huskies was amazing - could easily have taken a couple home 😊

Mt Buller was fabulous.
Mt Buller was fabulous. Travelling to Mt Buller was surprisingly easy, the road up the mountain is very well maintained. The Mt Buller app made finding info very easy. The transport app made booking transport and reviewing bookings a breeze. There are lots of different food options on the mountain. It was like a winter wonderland.

If enjoying the wonders of nature through skiing, hiking or mountain bike riding is your thing, then Mt. Buller is for you. Lots of great tracks, fabulous MTB trails (in summer) and skiing in winter. The village is surrounded by attractive chalets set between the snow gums. Beautiful views.

Hotel is expensive but i will still highly recommend it. Superb location, close to lifts, ski school and bus stop. Room was spacious and staff was friendly. All amenities were clean. Food was yummy and hot breakfast included with booking was delicious. Coffe at the restaurant and at the coffee shop downstairs was one of the best. It was convenient to hire skis from the hotel ski shop.
Great value for family - Excellent location halfway up bourke st run and great staff - helpful and friendly. Keep in mind its a lodge and not a hotel and you do have some responsibilites and you will have a great time.
The manager communicated well and with a great manner. The hotel was much nicer than photos on website. It was exceptionally clean and the restaurant was comfortable. The staff were friendly. The bed linen was crisp.
Location to the lift and village, complimentary continental breakfast, ski hire in the hotel and the restaurant with reasonable good food so we didn’t have to walk out for dinner in the cold at night.
