Loved the location. Right on the beach and close to other beaches and restaurants. Close driving distance to most restaurants. Walking distance to a few. We love the friendly easy going staff and the pool and bbq area was great.
The rooms were spacious and good. Don’t expect luxury.
Nice big balconies.

Beautiful beaches and terrific walkway around the Please note dinner options are limited. The Bowling club was good but go around 5:45 as it is small.
Highly recommend the boardwalk around the headland.

The very best location on Straddie as far as conveniences.
The very best location on Straddie as far as conveniences. Even if you have no transport the bus service takes you all the way from where the passenger ferry docks at Dunwich to Point Lookout. From Point Lookout you can walk to beautiful beaches, the incredible cliff board walk, cafes, the local fish n chip shops and grocery store, sand dune at Deadmans Beach and Whale watching platforms at Frenchman's Beach.

Amazingly beautiful part of the world.
Amazingly beautiful part of the world. We were blown away by how gorgeous it was here. That said, we had perfect weather, and the ocean was warm, turquoise and relatively calm, so that was wonderful. Point Lookout has just enough for a stay there to be comfortable, but not enough for it to have been spoiled.

Our room was available when we arrived early on the ferry and they notified us by text which was great. The location is perfect, with the beach across the road and restaurants within walking distance.
The bathroom is small and downstairs from the mezzanine bedroom which we found annoying. There is only one TV in the lounge area, so none in the bedroom. Live to air TV was not available which was disappointing as we wanted to watch the AFL preliminary final. Netflix was available so that was good

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Point Lookout
Just a really welcome surprise how good this place was. Pricing was still reasonable in the high-season which was great to see they aren't gouging like the rest of the island's hotels. The style of accom is perfect for the location. A one minute walk to the beach. Great Coffee in the morning at the restaurant, the first open on the island by the way too.
The Location was great, close to Home beach and an easy walk to the pub for dinner. Easy access to the Main beach or Adder Rock 4x4 access roads and it was a pleasant walk to Point lookout for the Sunrise each day. The living area was massive with an extremally comfortable couch for relaxing in the evening.
Location is quite good. Point Lookout is the best location. Pub under 1klm away easy walk. Good White Goods, decent Water pressure - good Crockery - Bed not too bad. It was quiet and the grounds were very well maintained and lovely as is the Pool area.
The location was reasonably convenient and in walking distance to restaurants, hotels and the beach. Close enough to Point Lookout, but requiring a car to reach Dunwich or Amity Point. Accommodation was basic, but clean and the bed comfortable.
