Breakfast was cool. Shuttle bus cool. Food nearby in restaurant. Very noisy in morning. Other than that it was an average stay for a motel.

Breakfast was plentiful with many options. I loved the cinnamon roll! Coffee was hot and fresh. We really loved the little conveyor belt pancake maker as well, it was fun to watch!

We just used the hotel in Charles Town so we could visit Harpers Ferry. There was a nice casino across the street that has good shows. There are plenty of food options in town. Mountain View Diner is good.

At no fault of theirs, the town had an electric grid issue resulting in some rooms having no power and heat. The staff went out of her way to give us choices and make sure our room had electric and heat. She did an excellent job. The room met our needs and was same as booked.

A nice small town. People were friendly.
A nice small town. People were friendly. No speed traps or other bad things that we saw. Traffic fairly heavy but moved along ok. Lots of food places. Gasoline was less expensive than our home area and areas to the east of Charlestown was the lowest we saw. Overall a very nice trip.

I told booking.com we did not stay at this motel 6 because air filter was filled up with at least 1/3 inch of shit.Granted it was a smoking room, but do they not clean these filters, that much crap on air conditioner is ridiculous every day in a smoking room!!
Housekeeping should be cleaning these filters everday...obviously NOT!! Then for my husband seeing people shooting up drugs is something I would definitely investigate before I would keep sponsoring this motel!!!

What I liked most about Days Inn Charlestown was the convince to the racetrack. Also, there was an excellent variety of places to eat that fit ones budget.
What I liked least about Days Inn Charlestown was the odor in the room. I took this room because it was the only one available. I have always had a great experience with the Wyndham chain of hotels. This was the most DISSAPOINTING! I think I would have felt better if I wasn’t treated as if my concerns were not so important.

Location, price, were good.
Location, price, were good. Heating/cooling was hard to get a sweet spot for sleeping. First too cold then too hot. Never got to just right.
Beds were pretty high but very comfortable and so were the pillows.
WiFi was puzzling and apparently needed a password despite it saying that it was open.
Love the hotel! Both times we've stayed we got room 303 and hope to get the same room in the future! Just a fun little memory to make. also the receptionist at the front desk was super nice! Both ladies worked night shift! I believe one woman was Donna and the other Amanda. Super nice!
