Fantastic location. Not in central Stowe but a short drive in. The staff were LOVELY!!!! Really helpful and kind to my kids. Breakfast is basic, toast and cereal etc but for a quiet bite on the way out it was very welcome. There is a bowling alley on site which is ideal for kids. Games are expensive - 50 dollars per lane, plus shoe hire - but Stowe is expensive so that’s how it is.
Located on Mountain Road in Stowe, Vermont, this lodge features indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, sauna, games room and free WiFi. A hot buffet breakfast is served everyday.

We had an excellent stay! The property is clean and warm and an appropriate size for sharing. There’s some great facilities like sauna and hot tub for after slope recharging. There was the right amount of options available for breakfast such as scrambled eggs with sausage along with granola and yogurt. The staff were all exceptionally friendly. The shuttle bus stop is immediately outside the property. Overall this felt like the right price / value for a few days on the slopes. There’s plenty of USB sockets in the room for charging.
Set in Stowe, 10 km from Mount Mansfield, Tälta Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar.

The room was very spacious
It had a mini fridge, along with a kettle to make coffee in the room.
Front desk staff was very helpful
Location was great
The atmosphere was very relaxing and definitely a place to go for R&R.
Quite overall only minor sounds when people are walking by or coming down the stairs.
They also have a sauna and pool as well but we didn't get to use it.
Hiking trails not too far away and access to food places around town.

Stowe is a beautiful area but don't bother going to see fall colors. Crazy busy. We couldn't even find a restaurant to eat. If you don't have reservations, you don't eat. Simple. Prices are very high during this time also.

Stowe is beautiful.
Stowe is beautiful. We were able to see the fall colors as well as experience the first snow fall. It was an amazing backdrop. The facilities and rooms are really comfy and cozy. The property is easy to walk and you are just a few short miles from downtown Stowe. It was a wonderful end to our two week trip around New England.

Perfect location for visiting relatives in VT, and Stowe...
Perfect location for visiting relatives in VT, and Stowe itself had many interests for us. Alchemist Brewery, Cider Press, Cabot Cheese Shop, and Ben & Jerry's were convenient to visit. Skinny Pancake was great place for breakfast.

Stowe is a very popular area, and for good reason!
Stowe is a very popular area, and for good reason! There are a lot of really great things to do near Stowe, VT. However, downtown Stowe was CROWDED. Even early in the morning! Driving through the stretch of downtown was crazy, and it wasn't very enjoyable walking around downtown either, because there were just people everywhere. However, outside of downtown Stowe, the mountains and foliage really were beautiful. I did enjoy my time at Stowe Mountain Resort, and especially the drive through Smuggler's Notch.

It is a very commercialized area.
It is a very commercialized area. I visited Stowe a lot as a child and it was more cozy and relaxed. Now, there are overpriced environmentally horrific condos everywhere. Not a fan of the overpriced, non-local business model.

Simply one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Atmosphere, history, decor, position - the Trapp Family Lodge has it all. Slightly outside the bustle of Stowe, the views are stunning. Get a room with a view across the valley and you won't be disappointed! Restaurant menu and quality of food superb. Plenty of walks and attractions on site or a short drive into Stowe but we didn't want to leave the hotel!
