As coffee drinkers, we were disappointed to discover there was no coffee in the room. Coffee was in the office which didn’t open until after 7:30 AM and was only a Keurig machine which is unacceptable for early rising senior citizens. I’m not sure if they meet code but the toilets are only about 15 inches tall which make it difficult to stand up. A soap dish or shelf in the shower would be a nice touch. Ending on a positive note, the beds were comfortable and the TV was a nice size and easy to navigate.

Montauk motels have become way too expensive.
Montauk motels have become way too expensive. I get the places like Gurneys and the like, but the motel rooms in town are way too high. It makes it hard to frequent the restaurants.
I did have a great dinner at The Muse, a fresh and fabulous lunch at Streetfood on the Green and enjoyed live music at Dukes.

We visited during a rainy period so we were limited with all that we could do. On our first flday, we visited the lighthouse, which was nice. We were able to to use the resort's indoor pool as well. Our second day, we had breakfast at Bird On The Roof, which was very nice. It was raining and headed back but it cleared up and was a beautiful day so we enjoyed the outdoor pool and the manor grounds. Dinner at Harvest On The Pond was wonderful. We had an evening soak in the want indoor pool and tried out the sauna for a bit. On our last day, we stopped by Goldberg's Bagels for a bite before heading back home. We even grabbed some pizza and sausage rolls from Sausages Pizza & Pastabilities, for dinner later on. I wish the weather was better so we could have had an opportunity to walk around town more. This was an impromptu trip and we were limited.

Montauk is a naturally beautiful place and kept so by town management and residences and businesses. We sincerely appreciate their effort. It is very different than the rest of the Hamptons and I hope it stays that way. The key differentiator is the affordability and accessibility of the place to families and average folk. Unfortunately during the last three and a half years affordability is under assault as all costs of living have risen so dramatically. We were expecting many more people to be in town than were there during our visit about a week before Fourth of July week. We hope the town and businesses weigh these considerations in all their deliberations. Thank you Montauk!

Montauk was a last minute decision - we had been visiting New York City. We wanted to tour the lighthouse but it was closed when we arrived. We did walk around the lighthouse and went back to watch the sunrise before leaving. We will definately be back and spend a few days. Our suite was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated with all the amenities.
Lovely hotel, great location. Very nice and helpful staff - I had to change the dates of my stay and they accommodated me on different nights during a very busy period at no extra charge. Will definitely stay here again.
Very clean room. First time in a long time I’ve had a sit down bath. That was nice. Location is on the north end of Montauk town, away from the ocean beaches, which is nice and its own way.
