Klimatyczny! Historia Route 66. Blisko baru Cozy Dog.
Loved the museum, the tomb and New Salem. We were disappointed that you could not tour the Lincoln house without a ticket as we have never run into that at other presidents homes. The tickets were gone in the early afternoon and talking to others we were not the only ones that were disappointed.

The Presidential museum in Springfield covers the life and president of Abraham Lincoln really well. It showcases the development of his career, his opionons and the perception of his work and achievementgs very differntiated and in interesting detail. It is definitely worth making a detour to Springfield for the museum, if you have not planned to come here anyhow.

A great little city for history and architecture.
A great little city for history and architecture. We went as Lincoln tourists and added on some Route 66 tourism. There were some things we did not have time to do. The Lincoln neighborhood was very beautiful and relaxing. It was a gorgeous day, and we could have sat in that area for hours.

The rooms are expensive but are nothing like the pictures they didn't have any of the things in the picture in the room the couch was very stained carpet wasn't clean counters where dirty an they had until 7p.m to get it together they couldn't find one skillet for my suite that had a full kitchen they saw I booked a balcony an they stuck us in a room next to the hot ass air conditioning unit for the entire hotel so soon. As we open the balcony all the heat comes in we wasn't able to sit out because the unit was on the balcony then the air went off didn't come back on so we left about two hours early an went to a friend's room

Springfield is my hometown.
Springfield is my hometown. I am impressed with the growth of the town. However there are derelict buildings that need to be torn down. There are not enough things for people to do when visiting. More entertainment and dining options need to be available.

Was impressed with the city.
Was impressed with the city.
All folks I contacted were very friendly and helpful. There were no traffic issues during my stay, and it was easy to get around the city, I'm not used to one-way streets, which were prevalent in downtown area. Otherwise, was beautiful with many great period buildings. Really enjoyed the visit and would definitely go back.
I never really had any food I considered bad. All was delicious and presented well with great service.

The only two positives were the breakfast and the staff. They gave us a voucher to order any breakfast we wanted from the hotel restaurant. The front desk staff was friendly and the restaurant staff was friendly and helpful.
