By every metric Idaho Falls should be the better town - but I'd take Pocatello over it any day of the week. I don't like the layout at all.
The only thing IF has better is their mall and mom & pop food options.
If you're going to have fun, their bars quit serving an hour earlier than Pocatello - and Pocatello bars are 10xs better.

The fall’s themselves and the story about how the electricity for the area has evolved were quite interesting. The Museum of Idaho , while overpriced, had a lot of interesting information about Idaho.

Walking around Snake River was a great pleasure.
Walking around Snake River was a great pleasure. The environment and neighborhoods makes me comfortable. Getting around have a little difficulty. However it can be sorted by Uber and also renting a car.

Loved Idaho Falls Loved all the shopping centers restaurants and things to do. A ton of places to eat and activities to do with small children .Didn't realize it was that big. We will be back to enjoy things that we didn't have time to do,

Shower was dirty with mildew. Room was not clean.
Shower was dirty with mildew. Room was not clean. I was given a room that was occupied by another guest. The lobby smelled really good. This is a Choice Hotel not what I am used to. I do not recommend this hotel.

I loved the charm of the city.
I loved the charm of the city. Beautiful waterfalls with a calm river. We visited the local farmer’s market and that was wonderful seeing local vendors and trying local food. Downtown was difficult to navigate (lots of one-way streets) on a Friday night, if we wanted to eat downtown we should have planned more time. We were headed to a concert and in a hurry so instead grabbed fast food on our way to the venue. Still good, but not downtown dining.
Reception and breakfast staff are delightful. The reception staff are helpful and want to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They get a 10 out of 10 from me.
Enjoyed the pool., clean, and plenty of towels. Good opening hours
Hotel very clean.
The best breakfast in our journey: excellent omelette cooked at the moment, Idaho potatoes and banana bread and muffins. Staff really nice and hotel very well located next to the river and very quiet.
