Nothing to like about this place at all. From afar, you look at the nice photos thinking it's the spot, it is absolutely far from it. Staff are rude, rooms are completely average for the price. Definitely better to check in 200m down the road instead.

Its north beach way so not as busy as down south, liked that. Its good value for money, has a pool and close to beach and transport links. If you looking for a coffee machine in your room with loads of TV channels then stay at the Hilton, Marriott etc and pay the higher prices. I selected this hotel because I have traveled to Miami numerous times but had never had the opportunity to stay at Mid Beach.
My booking was influenced by a variety of reviews, and I can confidently say it surpassed my expectations.
Location: Situated on 38th Street, the hotel is less than a minute’s walk to the bus stops for both the south and north routes. The area is peaceful, perfect for those who prefer a quieter environment. It’s just a minute’s walk to the beach and a three-minute stroll to CVS and a convenience store. Additionally, the hotel has an excellent tavern restaurant attached (which comes highly recommended!).
Experience: Upon arrival, the check-in process was efficient, taking under 10 minutes. I received my room key quickly, and the hotel had a fresh and clean scent—something I truly appreciated after a long 15-hour flight from the Middle East.
We are a family of four: two adults, one child (8 years old), and one infant. The room was spacious and tidy, accommodating our two large duffel bags, two carry-on bags, one baby stroller, and one car seat, with plenty of space to move around comfortably.
The two queen beds were more than sufficient for our needs, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable.
The bathroom was well-maintained, with good water pressure and temperature.
The room was equipped with an iron and ironing board, a safe, a fridge, and extra blankets and pillows in the wardrobe.
The only item missing was a hot water kettle, but it was delivered within five minutes of my request, and it was pristine with no hard water stains (we used it to prepare the baby’s milk).
Our stay was delightful, with room cleaning provided every other day upon request.
On our last day, as our flight was in the evening, I spoke with staff members Carlos and Zaer to inquire about a late checkout. Understanding their checkout policy, I was pleased to receive approval for a late departure without any hesitation.

It is nice to visit Miami once in a lifetime but I did not felt that Miami represents Florida. There were a lot of cuban people, very few americans around. Uber drivers did not speak english at all, nor most of the people from the stores.
Even if is an attractive destination I did not felt that you have much to do in it, except beach.
If you are pasioned about travelling and exploring, Miami is not really the best place, or you should visit it only for a few days. If you like clubs and party, than is the right place, even if the prices are very high in the Sounth Beach, were the clubs are.
Overall the city has a good vibe, but I did not feel very safe in it. I travelled on more than 40 countries, but Miami was a city on which I had the impression that I need to look over my shoulder all time.
If you want to visit the city I would recomment to find an accomodation Downtown or in Brickell. I stayed in South Beach but regret it, cause you should stay there only if you want to go to the beach only.
The transportation however is ok, there is a bus from city center to South Beach and free trains and trolleys in the city center.

Great experience - lots of restaurants and shops - and right next to the beach. A fun and exciting location! I ate breakfast at the Colony Hotel - very good, and had dinner at a mexican place three doors down - delicious. Second night I ate at Betsy Hotel - wonderful atmosphere and great food. My waiter and the head waiter were very generous and kind.I also went to the Frost Science Museum and aquarium and enjoyed it very much.

I absolutely love Miami Beach; anything less than a full week never feels like enough.
You can have a laid-back stay with friends/family and just walk around, browsing, or you can go to the clubs and fancy restaurants.
I always prefer to take the more relaxed approach, exploring and doing light shopping.
Had a slice of pepperoni pizza from Grafa Pizza & Pasta and it was delicious. There's a 7 Eleven nearby on Washington Ave and I always go in for a slurpee.
There are lots of CVS pharmacies so you can get all your supplies.
Love the beachy clothing stores as well and the traditional stores like Zara, H&M and Marshall's on Lincoln Road Mall.

My experience in Miami Beach was absolutely excellent! Look, we all know the reputation South Beach Miami carries- exceptional beaches, nightlife, shopping among a few of those. Yes, it was all of those things - and although shopping isn’t one of my primary loves in life, I can see by the caliber of stores that people would really enjoy that here. Now, for beaches and nightlife this area is stellar! Fun everywhere and the beaches were some of the best I’ve ever seen! I hope to visit Miami Beach again in the future! Thanks MB!

Miami Beach is a combination of nightlife, cafes and the beautiful Caribbean. If you want to be 'in the mix' South Beach is for you. If you want to relax, just head to the sand. We stayed in an apartment. There plenty of grocery stores to supply what is needed for breakfast and snacks. And when you are ready to shop or see more of Miami, you have a 15-minute drive to the malls, the Grove or other spots.
Hotel is two towers with a small lap pool in the middle. It is located directly across from the beach which was excellent. Valet parking was an additional $50 per night which was expensive. The restaurant located in the hotel is below average and would NOT recommend eating there, so many better places off Ocean Drive. South Beach is a unique experience but i would not stay on Ocean Drive again instead stay in Lincoln drive area which is much more classier and close by
We were happy with the location on the ocean front and the access to the boardwalk along the Miami beaches. We also enjoyed the neighbourhood as it had a wonderful variety of restaurants. Although some distance from South Beach and other Miami locations, the free tram service was an amazing way to travel. The hotel staff were very helpful and available 24 hours. The pool was a great asset. Our suite was comfortable and spacious for the three of us.
Very neat art deco hotel right in the middle of the south beach ocean drive. We had a great stay here, with friendly staff an very tidy, though rather small rooms. Sunbeds on a near beach were included. Breakfast was sufficient and very enjoyable directly on the Ocean Drive. All in all great value for money.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Just on the south beach. The room was of good size and clean. The breakfast was in a nearby restaurant .Although it is not a buffet but an American breakfast but it was excellent. Staff is very polite and helpful.
