Great hotel located with the best view of the Trogir old town and the sunsets that get lost behind. We had booked 4 rooms for the client, and each was to its best standard of cleanliness and comfort of the guest. The staff is amazing and absolutely professional. Really recommend this place.
Set in a beautiful 400-year old stone manor, Domus Maritima is only a few steps from the sea and a 3-minute walk from the centre of Trogir, a UNESCO Heritage Site.

We booked a deluxe room with balcony - very glad we did. The hotel location is perfect, with the balcony looking out across to Trogir's old town and the marina. Best of all though was the restaurant/cafe/bar at the front of the hotel. Absolutely enchanting atmosphere, great food and drinks, and very friendly staff (especially the owner, Mico, who made us incredibly welcome). While the hotel was close enough to the old town to wander over and explore, it was lovely to come back to this oasis for dinner and a chilled out evening.

Lovely location and excellent food.
Room was comfortable and the view of the sea wonderful. So relaxing. It was October so the hotel was quiet and no fighting for sun beds or tables or drinks. We walked up and down the coast every day in both directions

'Trogir is the best-preserved Romanesque-Gothic complex not only in the Adriatic, but in all of Central Europe' (Wikepedia). If you like wandering historic narrow streets and eating and drinking in interesting surroundings then it is well worth a day's visit. It also has a sea front and harbour area to give a feeling of space if you want a change from the enclosed spaces of the Old Town.

A really beautiful town, lots to see and do, at whatever pace you want. Not too large either. We had too many nice meals (went 2 years in a row) so no particular restaurants. You can get happily lost in its pretty little streets

Old Town Trogir was an old city in the Venetian style, an much smaller than Split, but with many restaurant and bar options on the waterfront. It was also only about 10 minutes from the Split airport, so it is a great place to stay the night before you leave, or if you arrive late at night.

Trogir centre is a classic old Mediterranean town with well preserved architecture which in my view rises well above its modern touristification. It is also a big marine centre. In summer though it gets choked with traffic, come by bus (or ferry from Split in summer only) if you can. There is a frequent bus service from Split and Split airport every day.
We hired a car and travelled around Croatia and wanted to do split and it was cheaper staying in Trogir which is a nice little town.
The room did look exactly like on the photo and you can tell it has just been renovated so it was nice and modern.
The owner Daniela is fantastic she is so nice and helped us with getting to split as it was actually cheaper to get the ferry and pointed us in the right direction of some good local beaches.
The location is fantastic as it literally is a 2 minute walk into the old town.
Everything was flawless at villa paula, the breakfast, location, room, pool all fantastic, the view. I have never stayed in a hotel so clean. They even sorted us out a late check out which meant we weren't wasting our last day hanging about. I will be recommending villa paula to all my friends who plan to visit Croatia. Massive thank you to all the staff and Ivana .
Great sea view (we were upgraded to penthouse suite with balcony the width of the nuilding next to the sea). Comfortable accommodation, friendly family service, good Croatian food, staff spoke English. Able to pay by card - not so usual in Croatia even now.
Near to ferry into old Trogir,
Free wifi and car parking - latter a bit tricky, tight spaces.
Simple apartments, very kind hosts. Walking distance from Trogir old town. Because of very narrow street, access and parking with minibus near the accommodation can be complicated.
