Boutique Hotel Bura 45N, hotel in Senj

Boutique Hotel Bura 45N is situated in the centre of the picturesque Senj, offering elegantly decorated accommodation with free wireless internet access.

We had a junior suite, which was comfortable and great for the price. Nicely presented and clean. The location is on the sea front and close to restaurants and bars. The car park opposite is 'pay' but just go through the barrier and take a ticket. On check in the hotel will give you a voucher for free exit at the booth when you leave.

Great service provided by the Host, i.e. proactively giving information, meeting and greeting at arrival, welcoming attitude. The apartment was shiny clean, equipped with all needed furniture and kitchenware. Enough parking place in front of the apartment building. Food-stores (Plodine and Spar) in less than 10 min walk away. City centre and city public beach can be reached by walk, no need to use a car. Neighbourhood is quiet. Nice view from the balcony.

What a Authentic little town, not to touristy good services though, nice Adriatic beaches and coves. Lots of interesting history to hunt down. Mid Sept. and the water was still around 20c . Calming place after all the fast pace of larger city's Dining hint: find Kod Veska.... seafood galore

Zengg is the perfect choice if you're not only interested in the beach, but also want to see a bit of the city. The old town is interesting, the castle is worth a visit and the restaurants are good. It's big enough that you can't really notice the many tourists. The locals are friendly and you can get along well with English or German.

It is a nice and hilly place.

It is a nice and hilly place. It is not much of a big town/city. It does not have a long coast line but there is a nice beach we visited called Skver Beach which closed to the town/city centre. I liked their lechon also that is one of the menu from all the restaurants we visited.

Senj is a small town on the coast.

Senj is a small town on the coast. It isn't as crowded as other towns nearby. If you just focus on the beaches and the town itself you might get bored quickly. The mountains however in the area are beautiful and offer great views or hiking possibilities. Coming down from Alan to Jablanac for example offers the most beautiful views I ever experienced. Restaurants offer mostly all kinda the same food. Bora 45 Hotel has good food, try the restaurants near the water in Lukovo south of Senj ( great road getting there), and the fish restaurant in Klenovica north of Senj. Coast road to Senj can be very busy in August. So a good alternative route is the highway from Zagreb to Split. If you want good Slivovic avoid the factory made, ask for farmer-made Slivovic, If you are lucky they sell it. More inland villages often have. If you depend on good wifi, book a place near the central post office. If you get further away the speed can drop to 4-6 Mbps.

The beach is amazing, the people are friendly, the weather is usually great (but also windy). The restaurants are an amazing price quality, especially Uskok which we dinnered at. This is a town to stay at for 2 or max 3 days. I wouldn't stay for the whole week, there won't be anything to enjoy outside of the small town, small charming (amazing) beach and the castle with view.

I am in love with this city.

I am in love with this city. Senj is a magical town located in Croatia, situated along the blue Adriatic Sea with stunning landscapes and a rich historical heritage. The city is renowned for its idyllic beaches, medieval fortresses, and a romantic ambiance that can be felt in the narrow alleys of the old town. Its beautiful location offers the opportunity for seaside strolls, relaxation, and sunbathing by the crystal-clear waters and sandy or pebbly coves that entice those seeking a refreshing dip. On sunny days, visitors can indulge in boat rides, surfing, and various water sports. Senj's historical center is a true treasure trove for those interested in the past. The city walls and the winding streets of the town center invite visitors on a journey back to the Middle Ages. Nehaj Fortress, built to defend against the Ottomans, provides a memorable experience with its panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The city's vibrant cultural events offer a rich array of experiences, always keeping Senj lively and exciting. Festivals and concerts here introduce both locals and visitors to cherished traditions and cultural heritage. For those seeking delicious food and drinks, Senj's restaurants and cafes are worth a visit. The local cuisine delights with special delicacies such as fresh seafood and local wines. Senj is an ideal destination for those seeking a pleasant retreat, historical exploration, and the enchanting surroundings of the Croatian seaside. Well equipped and super clean, modern apartment. We enjoyed staying there as it was also spacious and bright, with a huge terrace area. The view was breathtaking, had a full panorama of the castle, sea and the nearby islands. Daniela, the host was super friendly and helpful, she had perfect and smooth communication, and organization of our check-in/check-out procedures. We'd definitely come back next time we're in Senj or its closer area.

The lovely Danijela was there to greet us. She was so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Her recommendation for lunch/dinner was excellent. Our apartment was immaculate and was exactly as described. The air conditioner was an added bonus! Short walk to everything that you need to see and experience in Senj. We can’t wait to visit again.
