The location was great, across the street from the beach. The pool was fantastic (although the chemicals they use have quite a strong, particular smell - not just the typical chlorine one), and the sea was a few steps away. Breakfast had a good amount of options and was tasty.

Gorgeous hotel in lovely position. We were given a top floor(5th) room overlooking the sea with enormous balcony. Very comfortable. Very bright. Breakfast buffet easily best of our holiday. They make omlettes for you individually, tons of choice of foods. Nice fruits, little jars of fresh smoothies. Huge room so never space issue, can sit inside or out. Hotel itself is in a really good position, just outside back is in main road of bars and restaurants. Next to a nice little park.

A lot of the restaurants are close to the road, a small place and not so many choises.
Nice buildings and great view. I lot nicer than Rijeka, which I dont recommend beacuse of old buildings not maintained, and not a nice promenade. But Rijeka is cheaper and better shopping.

This little Adriatic town is also known as the “Old Dame”, the “Nice of the Adriatic” or the “Queen of Croatian Tourism” certainly deserves all the flattering titles since the tradition of business and leisure tourism dates back to the late 19th century, when in 1885 the first congress, the Congress of Balneologists, was organised by the Austrian Southern Railway Company. Underwhelmed.
Underwhelmed. When you look up Opatija you always see pictures of beautiful flowers, especially those in front of the Villa Angiolina. One of the reasons we stayed in Opatija was my wife loves flowers and especially flower gardens. The reality is vastly different from the pictures. We were there in early May 2024 and the weather was cool, but flowers tend to love cool weather. The condition of that postcard style trademark of Opatija was terrible. It is a pleasant town with a nice promenade, but when we were there most restaurants were closed and everything seemed unkempt. Half deserted and still no parking. Possibly they wait for the summer months to tend to things when the town is overrun with tourists and there is really really no place to park.

This place is so nice and beautiful. And Lungomare walk is something incredible! I wish we had more time to explore the city or simply get lost there. Then visit the museums and admire historical villas, check out nice shops with souvenirs, spent more time just sitting and observing the sea in one of the cozy cafes at the seaside.
A rarely give 10 points to any service, but this apartment is simply the best where I've ever been in Croatia. The hosts are kind, helpful, always ready to help, but don't bother you, if you don't want. We have spent one week at the upstairs apartment there, it is fully equipped (AC, washing machine, hair drier, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, satellite tv), has plenty of place, a nice view to the Sea, large balcony, and beautiful garden. If you visit them, say hello to Grisa, the cutest dog in Opatija!
The apartment is ideally located between several beaches and the center of Opatija. As well, three supermarkets are in the vicinity, and you do not even need your car to go shopping.
The aparment owner has a fenced parking lot for the guest's car. We could lend a cot for our 2-year-old from the owner free of charge.
Small but cozy apartment in a separate building. There is a free dedicated parking space for the guests. The hostess is lovely. Although I made a last-minute booking, she did her best to prepare the apartment and check us in comfortably. Thanks for the hospitality!
