Skafonas is surrounded by a lush garden with blooming flowers, almond, cherry and apricot trees, in the area between the traditional village Sinarades and the famous Pelekas village.

Buffet breakfast was fabulous, huge choice.
The majority of the staff were kind and helpful.
We loved the location. About a 10min walk to the old town and a beach across the road. It was very quiet. We also had a view of the sea from our room which was a bonus.

Rolling Stone Apartment in Corfu is a gem! The location is fantastic, putting you close to everything you need. The highlight is definitely the terrace with its stunning views—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of Corfu. Hosts Ira and Thasos are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to ensure you have a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

We decided to base ourselves in Pelekas because of its vicinity both to Corfu town and to the beaches. However, the way back from the beach to the village is very steep and not convenient for children and older people. The beautiful village could be a lot nicer if traffic would be banned, since the streets are very narrow.

Our room had clearly not been renovated for the past 30+years, with broken tiles everywhere badly patched with glue/silicon (arguably a health and safety hazard), a bed with more broken springs than those still working (we slept only a few hours, if any), a shower that at peak usage time would get lukewarm at best (we called reception and they sent through a handy man at around 7pm who said it is usual for them to run out of hot water when everyone at the hotel is having showers, but it would usually come back in the next 2/3 hours). Also, our room was next to the large outdoor aircon units which were incredibly loud and they were blowing air upwards/towards our balcony (major covid risk), hence why we couldn't even make use of the one positive aspect of the hotel.
Also, there was a general smell of sewage throughout the facility, including our bathroom, which became unbearable at "peak shower times".
The all-inclusive package (there was no à la carte restaurant, shut due to Covid, even though the description on Booking is clearly talking of a second à la carte restaurant) was absolutely below expectations. We stayed at other 5-star hotels in Corfu a couple of nights before and after (we only experienced one dinner and one breakfast as we ran away ASAP) and the food at both was just miles ahead. To provide one simple example, the cut-up fruit provided was all canned (in syrup) fruit, as opposed to freshly cut fruit (provided at both other 5-star hotels). Also, for drinks there was only water, fizzy drinks, house wine and house beer all from a self-service tap - for anything else from a menu, you would need to prepay the tab on your room, which could only be done at reception (which is something I had never heard of/experienced before for anything above 3-stars!), which was a 10 min walk up from the restaurant.

Pelekas is not, as such, the target of a trip but if you like family beach it is totally suitable for you ; if you like family naturism the beaches are very nice at Mirtitiossa (15 mn) or Issos (40 mn) ; if you like geographic tourism Pelekas is central !

If you go to Pelekas I really recommend to rent a boat on Ermones beach, you will have an unforgettable experience, People are warm and friendly. Go to Aqualand, a great water park but make sure to go there for a whole day. 3 hours will not be enough! Go spend some cool time at Villa Myrto!
If you come to this area without a car, you will be sorry. A car is a MUST have!!

Beautiful village.
Beautiful village. We prefer somewhere less touristy and Pelekas was perfect. I am sure corona virus may have effected how busy the village was but I don’t think the charm would be lost if it was busier. Lovely selection of tavernas to enjoy dinner and we enjoyed some beautiful Greek wine and cocktails at the small little bar next to the church in the centre. Great rooftop terrace not to be missed. I would recommend a car to reach the beaches. We walked back from the beach one day and once was enough in the heat! Top top, get your sun loungers at Spyros on the beach at Pelekas/Kontogialos beach and don’t miss the calamari Or grilled octopus on the menu for lunch!! Glyfada beach wasn’t a patch on Pelekas, give it a miss. Not to be missed is watching the sunset from Kaisers Throne!! Worth the walk up the hill, grab a beer on the way!!
House is located on the top of Pelekas Town, very near to one of the most beautiful beaches of Corfu; Kontogialos Beach and Glyfada Beach. The house has a amazing view, great wind all day. The owner Eleni tought about everything that you might need during your stay. She was very kind about everything, she even took us to a Greek Festival in a near village around. This is the best house rental we have ever had, totally recommended.
Studio apartments is a great please to stay a few days visiting Corfu island. The beach is close and pretty, and also you can reach on foot Pelekas town. The views from the balcony room and the pool and its surroundings are great. You can also eat here, but we didn’t try at the end.
Pelecas Country Club is absolutely wonderful. It is an isolated paradise on Corfu that serves as a perfect base to explore the beautiful beaches and sites of the island. The rooms, the service, the setting and the pool are all wonderful. The breakfast is perfectly delicious.
The beach was great and in general, Corfu offers a wide variaty of places to enjoy the stay. Hotel catering was fine with a wide selection of meals to choose from. WIFI was running well even on the beach. The Hotel staff was polite and helpful.
Manolo and Michaela are the best people for a trip to Corfu !!
The hotel has a very nice view and is very clean.
The breakfast is also very delicious
100% recommendation
