The pool was super relaxing and our room was very comfortable and clean. We especially liked watching the planes take off in the morning when we were eating breakfast.

Excellent place close to the center of the old city. Cosy, modern and clean, no mold inside. Has breakfast and very friendly staff. Our room had small kitchen with fridge, kettle, sandwich maker, microwawe and sink. All needed dishes included. Bathroom had shower, hair dryer, textile slippers, fresh towels. Rooms are not so very big but enough for two people as we were. Air conditioning makes it warm. No street sounds disturb. Definitely recommend it and will choose it for the next visit!

Breakfast was decent but repetitive.
We bought lunch and dinner there on a few occasions. All meals were all nicely done and pretty generous portions!
It's a small hotel and pretty basic in everything, however it served its purpose for our family of 5 as we didn't want to spend too much on this trip since we still had another big vacation trip coming up.
Car parking for our rental car was great.
It has a pool which was decent to have due to the hot August heat.
Maltezos Hotel is a small family run hotel located in Gouvia, 250 metres from the beach. It provides a large swimming pool with plenty of free sun beds and umbrellas.

great service, very good location, close to shops and restaurants, atmospheric bars for evening relaxation. Near the beach with the possibility of buying out escaping by ship . 50 m to the bus stop.. Kommeno is well placed for sightseeing around the island but you need a car to make the most of it. It is not so good for easy access to a beach which would have been nice as it was about 40 degrees C every day of our stay! We liked the Hyalus cafe for breakfast and had a delicious meal in Avalle restaurant.

Great food on offer, super helpful and friendly staff, lovely pool area, good facilities in general..very relaxing.
Not much to see in local area - you need a car!
Taxis to Corfu town and airport around €25-35.
The food is great but you wouldn’t want to eat there every night so you would need a car/taxi to get you alternatives.
The spa options are very pricy so not sure if they’d get that many guests.
It’s not a 5 star in my opinion but a very nice 4 star. 5 star properties should not have damp in the room on walls (peeling paint) not should smell like sewage. It’s seems quite a package holiday venue - bookable with Tui and BA holidays etc .
Get yourself into Corfu town and have a look around the back streets, fortress and into some of the wonderful restaurants on offer there!
Kommeno is not near a beach but they do offer buses on some days.

A great place to stay, hire a car to get around as it is a bit of a steep walk to get public transport. Some good local restaurants/tavernas close by but also in the gouvia/dassia/ypsos areas, lots of places to eat also with sea views and a good variety.Spiros and his wife very friendly and always willing to help in any way whilst enjoying a greek coffee. TIps for trips or organising transfers/taxis not a problem.

A peaceful, friendly location on a hill above a pretty beach. Some watersports available at the beach but these do not spoil the tranquil atmosphere. Sunbeds and umbrellas available-seem to be run by the local hotel but no charges were made and the beach is open to non residents. Sandy beach with lovely, clear water. Great for small children as very sheltered and calm. Up on the hill above, a few lovely tavernas (Apovrado, Panorama and Sea View: a small taverna and mini market that sells basic supplies and is run by two lovely, friendly ladies). All of the staff we met in restaurants, tavernas etc. were warm and welcoming. Easy bus ride to Corfu Town (from the main road about 20 minutes walk away) or to surrounding beach resorts with more facilities if required. Lots of steps to the beach and a little hilly around the resort so possibly not great for those who would struggle with this. Some of the most stunning views I've seen in Greece and hard to beat for peace, quiet and relaxation.

15 minutes into town- this was second part of our holiday so are in Corfu town most nights. Cabs cost €25 one way and take 4 people.
We only in our hotel in Kommeno didn’t venture out as too hot. But private beach here is lovely. Only for hotel guests. Lots of super yachts moored in the bay.

Amazing hotel with spacious rooms and a very stylish interior. The swimming pool is excellent with a nice view over the water and the hills. The staff were very kind and helpful as well, with special thanks to the breakfast staff Theo and George. The food in the hotel was very tasty, we enjoyed a nice lunch and diner at the Bistro and the pool restaurant a few times. Corfu Town was a 20 minute drive and there are various beaches nearby, I do advice to book a car to get around the island (you can also book a car for a day at the hotel).
The hosts who did everything and more, the space, the balcony and the view, the aircon, bus stop was near and buses took us to Dassia beach and Corfu town. The apartment had everything we needed.
Lovely hotel, clean common spaces and room cleaned on daily basis. The hosts were very helpful and kind (their dog also a very big +). Good location in the middle to explore the island all ways.
