First i will start with the host. Thank you Anna for your hospitality and all information that made our holidays so nice. She came to pick us up from the port and even helped us with some issues we had with our returning flights. I could right all day. Great location, beautiful beach, all we needed for relaxing holidays was there.

The location is absolutely gorgeous. It is on a higher point on the island and the views are outstanding! The walk to both of the closest beaches is less than 10 minutes and the walk to the town is 25 minutes.

The only bad thing was that some beaches (p.e. in the area of Alykes) have developed more than expected and the local enterprises charge extremely much for an umbrella and 2 sunbeds. Better to have an umbrella set with you or buy one from a local shop than meet those unwelcome surprise prices.
Despite this, the sea remains crystal and clear as it was ten years ago. The food is delicious. Short distances, easy to move around the island either by own car or by a local bus route.

Providing you find the right accommodation even in peak season you can feel secluded & undisturbed.
It rivals many of the "exotic" destinations (in terms of beaches & crystal clear waters), yet retains a rustic charm, combined with the hospitality of the locals and their great tasty dishes and local drinks which complete the enjoyable experience. 2 years in a row and we look forward to 2025!

Amazing island, with great sandy beaches, crystal clear and calm water and many places to visit.
Caribbean of Europe = Yes, definitely.
Almost everything is 5 min away by car and the roads are unexpectedly good.
Ferries are running on every 30 min, so very relaxing and quick trip from main land to the island.
I recommend to make a reservation in Tzanis restaurant, and experience the quality food while watching the sea. Tavern Metoxi also a good option.

In the small town there are numerous good restaurants with traditional Greek cuisine and fish specialties, street food is recommended, pastry shops with hand-made ice cream. The location of the hotel is outstanding. It is located on a hill overlooking the bay. There are amazing beaches nearby, more and more beautiful: Aliky, Megali Amos, St. George and numerous others. Fine sand, shallow clean sea, crystal clear water, lovely beach bars.

It was one of the most pleasant and relaxing vacations I had and is largely due to the excellent conditions in this location and the care provided by the 2 hosts. It is a beautiful, clean and very nicely decorated place.
I want to go back and I will recommend this hotel to as many friends as possible.
Everything. I don't often choose hotels as I prefer an apartment, but so glad I picked the Thalassa. Perfect situation, delightful hosts, different breakfast every morning, change of towels on the second day. Clean facilities. Very good value.Nothing too much.
Everything was of really high quality. The staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We did not have a car and they took us to and from the ferry as well as round to the beaches. Our bungalow was very comfortable with a beautiful sea view.
The hotel is at a perfect location where you have access to everything(beaches, town center, taverns, etc. ) pretty easily. It has private parking that is pretty convenient as well.
