You can get around to yalova downtown by the public transportation though most of the time its full
However its very costly if you're planning to visit waterfalls and other areas. There's no proper direction how to get by. If you want to hire a car its extremely expensive.

This is a great escape place from Istanbul.
This is a great escape place from Istanbul. There are many hotels around here, some with their own thermal water pools. It is easily reached from central istanbul by boat . and from yavlova you can take a bus or taxi straight to the hotels. Limak hotel is the best and most beautiful, but I can also recommend the original Termal Hotel with the first outdoor spa pool which is still in use. Opposite this hotel is the historic mansion of Ataturk and original springs-one with water especially for the stomach- Yes you can drink it!
