Wow!! I absolutamente loved everything about this place, the cleanliness, the staff, the decor! There’s an outdoor shower, the bathroom is so impeccable and clean, AC is strong, bed is comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning, with fruits, cakes and made-to-order eggs.
They provide with you beach towels and beach bags if you need it. This place is walking distance from centro (10-15 mins walk), and yet it’s super safe and private and quiet!
The best part of this place is the owner, he is very kind and caring, he speaks Spanish as well! he and his wife painted all the decors and this place feels very homey. I stayed here solo for 4 nights and it was still not enough ❤️ I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend it to everybody!!! and this place and Paraty is my favorite part of Brasil! Thank you so much Nelson!! Don’t hesitate, book this place! You will love it!

Paraty is a magical place. Worthwhile the trip. I visited the place in 2004 and now again after 20 years. Much has changed (many more shops and lots of boats), but the essence of the historical center and the magnificent bay did not. It will make you happy.

It’s a must see for any visitor or even Brazilian. A beautiful town with a historic center. The city has various nice restaurants (but usually quite pricy) and shops.
Since it’s not in the mountains, it’s easier to visit than for example ouro preto.

I think 1 or 2 nights is just right. It is nice to do a layover in Paraty because on the bus ride to and from (Rio/Sao Paulo) you can see quite a bit of the smaller towns and nature. If you did a bus direct from SP to Rio it would stick to the main highways and you wouldn't see as much. Worth a visit if you have time but keep in mind everything will be slightly more expensive as local tourists also like coming here. There are also lots of festivals so depending if you like festivals you could time your trip to coincide with one of them. During my stay there was a gastronomy festival which was pretty cool. They had cooking demonstrations and free samples of stuff.

In regards of the price, the place is very good. Rooms are very clean and with all needed comodities. Location is central in Paraty and at the same time relatively quiet. Carlos and Helena have welcome us very warmly and were very helpful to organize our stay and advise us on possible visits. I thank them very much. We were a family with 3 children. The breakfast is delicious with eggs, home made cakes, fruits, cheese, ham...We strongly recommend this pousada.
Beautifully decorated pousada (didn't get a chance to use the very inviting pool). Breakfast was best in Brasil for us! Our favourite fresh fruits and an introduction to many local pastries.... Junior, João, & the lady who served breakfast, were so helpful and pleasant. Casa Simone Pousada in Paraty is definitely worth a stay.
Pousada Casa de Paraty is such a beautiful property. The staff are super friendly and accommodating and Jô made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The property is very clean and in a tranquil location not too far from the historical centre. 10/10.
Pousada in an quite area in the center of Paraty, very spacious room with very nice patio in the middle, lovely atmosphere in central area in a 10 minutes walk distance from the bus station. Cleaning every day was good.
Everything was perfect, the location is amazing, Junior the barkeeper was fantastic, the whole team was kind and friendly, huge breakfast, if we come back to Paraty we will come back to this Pousada
