Good location (a short drive from the airport and in a part of town which wasn’t under construction - huge parts of the city are massive construction sites). The staff were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our evenings in the bar, which were lively.

Construction everywhere, hopefully will be a better place to visit in 3 to 5 years. Due to country conflict, travel outside of the city was unfortunately not recommended, so not much to do there.
Museums need revitalization, as it is a sad sad sight to see, although the artifacts are great.

Addis city centre is well maintained, clean and full of decoration, I found traffic level is moderate during peak hours. I ate at Om Bistro that is very good Vegetarian Indian Restaurant located at Rwanda Street in Bole Area.
Addis Ababa does not have Uber service but Ride service is very good and economical, Anyone travelling to Addis can download Ride App I found that Ride Taxis are safe and can save lot of conveyance cost, though personal alertness is always desirable.
One can buy a local SIM Card at the airport itself for desired package of talk time as well as internet data time which is quite convenient for local roaming.

Nice place with a lot of greenery and cool breeze.
Nice place with a lot of greenery and cool breeze. However I was advised not to travel alone due to the possibility of pick-pocketing. Last day I've visited leather stores near stadium. The bags, shoes, belts, jackets, what not.. all were really good and very very cheap. Didn't interact with outside people other than from the hotel where I stayed, and they were very friendly. I was on a business trip so didn't explore much. Overall, I am satisfied with the trip and will visit again if possible.

In numerous museums, you can live and learn a lot of the historical past of the country and region through visits and see some of the culturaly richest places. The weather isn't too hot or cold, sometimes the rain can suddenly come for few minutes, the time to taste a very nice traditional coffee.

Addis is a very culturally preserved country in Africa (one of the very few).
The museums, churches and people tell the story of Addis and all Africans.
From archeology to food and dances, Addis has it all, including a million types of coffee to try.

Haile is an amazing person and he is very helpful and servicial, as are his employees. Not a luxury place, but with all the necessary amenities and neat clean. Plus you get complimentary pick up from the airport or bus station.
Coffee and tea available for free all day long.
Highly recommended place to stay in Addis Ababa.
Human size hotel with nice and reactive staff. My room was big and clean. I also had a kitchen. The free on demand airport shuttle was very convenient and fast . The hotel is both downtown and conveniently located close to the airport. Buffet breakfast was varied but could be more tasty.
An excellent guest house. Helpful staff made my stay enjoyable.
