Seville is a city that lends itself perfectly to just wandering around and soaking up the atmosphere. And there is plenty of atmosphere to be soaked up.
People watching is very much a pastime here, and all over Seville restaurants teem with well-heeled locals enjoying a laidback coffee or cerveza under the shade of a citrus tree.
The city also has its fair share of must-see sights. Top of the list is Plaza de España whose monumental, semi-circular building is elaborately decorated with Andalusian tiles. Also typically Andalusian is the Seville Bull Ring, though what goes on inside may not be to everyone’s taste. The resting place of Christopher Columbus, UNESCO World Heritage-listed Seville Cathedral is an awe-inspiring structure whose vast vaults provide welcome relief from the heat of the day.
But it’s after dark that things really start to heat up. Streets pulse to the rhythm of flamenco, and with more bars per inhabitant than anywhere else in Europe, there’s no shortage of choice for nightlife.
Just on the outskirts of the city is Seville Airport. Public transport from here provides easy access to the array of Seville hotels, guest houses and apartments that Booking.com has to offer.

The sights were worth visiting for enthusiasts of history, architecture and green spaces, which were all in walking distance of our hotel.
The downside was the cost of food, lovely tho it was, we found the prices double to what we are used to in our little Spanish village in the Valencia Province.
We would try to find locally used restaurants as opposed to ones in the very 'touristy' locations.
Also, every restaurant we sat in had 'street musicians' playing for you and asking for payment - not just one, but various groups throughout the lunchtime or evening. Also there appeared to be a lot of homeless people asking for food or money to buy food.

Seville is the fourth largest city in Spain but all of the main attractions are walkable. Food and drink is quite reasonably priced and some of the old tapas bars are great value. Be prepared to be addressed in Spanish, very little English spoken which I believe to be a good thing. Locals are quite abrupt but friendly. Very hot in summer months!

Probably the best city break ever.
Probably the best city break ever. The Royal Palace and Cathedral are an absolute must do each requiring a good few hours to do. We did a free walking tour with BOST (best of Seville tours) which was amazingly informative and worth doing. Also worth considering is a river cruise.
The food scene is very good lots of choice and quite well priced compared to UK prices. You can walk anywhere so no need for transportation and my fave restaurant was Pelayo Bar we went twice it was so good and cheap.

Seville is a wonderful city - now one of my TOP CITIES, if not TOP!! The vibe is great and access to bike hire and being able to walk everywhere was a bonus. Food/bars excellent value for money. One of the most stunning cities, architecturally, that I've been to. Great airport bus service from central Seville was cheap and easy to use. Triana is a great area to stay in.

Would totally recommend the Alcazar, Palacio de las Dueñas, Casa de Pilatos, Hospital de los Venerables and the Casa Fabiola.
Visit the markets (Mercado) for picnic items or lunch-to-go.
Most places will take card, but do have some money on you for bars and museums.
It is a beautiful little hotel, the staff are so friendly. Wonderful location for old town. Loved how quirky it is and so clean. Located in a beautiful quiet area with lots of character. Staff were very helpful and so warm. A more taditional Spanish/Moorish style hotel and so clean. My friend from Canada and i (from Ireland) were very impressed. Its not like the new chains of hotels but that add to the experience. Excellent homely place to experience the Spanish hospitality and a palce to chill between exploring Seville.
perfect location for exploring Seville. outstanding staff and attention to detail. beautiful character property. wonderful Spanish guitar hour each evening in courtyard. unlike some hotels during our s Spain trip everything was on offer - kettles, drinks in courtyard etc rather than very limited service due to covid.
The hotel is situated right next to the Seville city centre and old town - rooms are generally very clean and comfortable. We had a double room with extra bed and although not super spacious, it did the job. The outdoor pool area was a plus to have as well. Breakfast was also good and with great options too.
Excellent new hotel! Large rooms. Good location approximately one kilometer from the old town of Seville. Very quiet and modern. Free cold water vending machines on all floors. Fantastic roof terrace with pool and bar. Excellent and large breakfast buffet!
It is such a wonderful , quirky hotel..a series of connected houses right in the centre of old Seville. From the window you looked across the rooftops of the old town and listened to the church bells. Location is perfect.
