“I had a wonderful stay at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk or quick ride to top shopping destinations like Siam Paragon, CentralWorld, and MBK Center. Whether you’re looking for high-end brands or local finds, everything is so close. The hotel is also near great cultural spots like Jim Thompson House and Wat Pathum Wanaram, which made sightseeing so convenient. For evening entertainment, Asiatique The Riverfront and the Ratchada Train Market are just a short trip away. Perfect place for anyone looking to explore Bangkok’s best shopping and attractions!”

I booked a Deluxe King room, and it was good. Nice, spacious room. Nothing to get excited about, with the price range, but it was nice and comfortable. The location, for a solo traveller, is what makes this a good hotel. Once you enter the hotel, you hear nothing from outside.

Bangkok never sleeps, or so you might think as you fly into Suvarnabhumi International Airport. From luxurious mega malls like MBK and Siam Discovery in Siam Square to the famous Khao San Road in the Banglamphu district, this hard working city is packed with commerce, fiery food and soothing temples.
Catch a boat up river on the Chao Phraya Express or discover different neighbourhoods on the blissfully air-conditioned BTS Skytrain. A taxi or exhilarating tuk-tuk ride is never far away from the big attractions, which include Chinatown, Jim Thompson House and the floating markets at Damnoen Saduak.
To step out of the frenetic energy of street food stalls, amulet markets and the sizzling temperatures, discover an oasis of calm in one of the many Buddhist temples. Be awed by the majesty of the Grand Palace and marvel at the world’s longest reclining Buddha at Wat Pho. While you’re there why not relax even more with a traditional Thai massage?
From the sky-scraping luxury hotels with world famous rooftop bars to a cheap hostel bed in the centre of town, Booking.com will help you explore all Bangkok has to offer.

Traffic is a nightmare.
Traffic is a nightmare. If you do not have anything specific to do, it is better to visit other cities in Thailand. Getting to places takes a long time in gridlocked traffic. It was end October and either very hot and humid or thundery rains making traffic worse. If you are one or two people and are ok with the bike taxi, maybe better than regular taxis.

Bangkok is a vibrant, bustling city known for its rich cultural heritage, lively street life, and stunning temples. The Grand Palace and Wat Pho offer breathtaking architecture and a glimpse into Thai history.
Street markets like Protunam Night Market and Jodd Fairs were my best choices, which provide the best shopping experience as well as Thai food experience. These markets provide the best and cheapest shopping experience while the city's street food scene is legendary—pad Thai, mango sticky rice, and more await adventurous eaters. Though traffic can be hectic, pleasant weather makes us energetic and never makes us tired. Bangkok's energy and mix of old and new make it a must-visit for travelers seeking a dynamic urban adventure.

I drove from Koh Chang to Bangkok, about 5 hours in all, and driving yourself in and around Bangkok is as you can expect. At rush hour on a Friday add a few more gray hairs to the "norm".
Bangkok is a vibrant city with a whole lot of things going on. Using the public transport, and Tuk Tuk's is the best option for getting around safely, cheaply, and more relaxed

Location is the best!! so close to all the main attractions and easy to walk to great food options for any meal. Easy to find great coffee options too for coffee fans. The rooms are great. the staff are so lovely and friendly- my son turned 11 and I asked them for a cake and candles as a surprise and they were super helpful. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Its a cute hotel and does not feel like you a staying in an office complex. The pool and roof bar are great to unwind after a busy day in Bangkok.
Second trip here. Started and ended my time in Thailand with stays here and will definitely return. This time I had the standard room (I had the deluxe room before) but, to be honest, the standard room here is like a deluxe room in most hotels I've stayed in. Clean, modern, stylish, good size, good wifi, and - most important of all - comfortable. Great hotel in a very convenient location close to Asoke station, Terminal 21, Soi Cowboy and a host of places to eat and drink. Will stay again next time I'm in Bangkok.
The manager was very friendly and helpful, although unfortunately, the hotel itself did not fully meet my expectations at that price point. Breakfast options were below par compared to similarly priced hotels in Bangkok that I've visited. The room lacked a fridge, water kettle, or a proper wardrobe, amenities I would have appreciated. The place feels somewhat understaffed and in need of maintenance. On a positive note, the location is very central, and the manager is very friendly and helpful.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, good sized and very reasonably priced room. Close to a busy area of Bangkok but this street is an oasis of calm . Good Thai and Indian restaurants in easy walking distance. More welcoming and personal than bigger more expensive chain hotels.
Great location, 10 min walk to the airport rail link. The staff is very friendly and gives very good service. Reasonable price for a reasonably sized room. We're be coming back to this hotel when in Bangkok again!
