Walkable distance (<5mins) to Kiwi and the sports outlet (town centre). Well lit place, shell and circle K just beside, not to worry midnight cravings.
Breakfast for everyday is almost the same, but I can see the hotel putting effort to provide the best for the residents here.
Nordis Apartments - Torget 21 in Svolvær features 4-star accommodation with a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. The accommodation provides room service and luggage storage space for guests.

Everything is great! Stunning scenery outside the window is really a surprise.
Located on a small island in the very heart of Svolvær Harbor in the Lofoten Archipelago, Anker Brygge offers rooms in traditional Norwegian fisherman’s cottages.

Svolvær is ok itself, has many nice places, perfect coffee at Laura's coffee, bet the Lofoten islands have their most beautiful places away from Svolvær, so it would be more convenient to book housing further on the way.

A picturesque town, everything within a walkable distance.
A picturesque town, everything within a walkable distance. We especially enjoyed the hike to the Devils Gate, a long climb up many Sherpa steps rewarded with a stunning view and rock formation at the top.

Nice and beautiful city with beautiful surroundings.
Nice and beautiful city with beautiful surroundings. I spent few days there before going to explore other ones in Lofoten but it's a perfect place just to walk. There is a big square in the center, few restaurants with delicious local food, some souvenir shops and few big supermarkets. There are also few hiking routes with amazing views from top - definirely a place worth visiting.

A suitable length of stay would depend largely on the time of year.
There are many options for mountain walking in summer, less when snow covers the paths and countryside. Day Trips can be made to explore other scenic towns and villages by the local bus, along the island. Very scenic opportunities for photography with the changes in weather. Interesting short walks around Svolvaer and the harbour, boats, colourful buildings and rocky inlets scenery.

Svolvaer has the iconic architecture and "feel" of the Lofoten Islands but is large enough to have some choice in restaurants and easy access to most services. There are many museums and attractions nearby and just driving through the countryside yields spectacular views. Parking in town is limited and expensive, but the central parking lot is free after 7 PM.

Fantastic holiday in Svolvaer.
Fantastic holiday in Svolvaer. A photographers paradise from Fjord excursions to a road trip further a field.
My key highlights were the RIB Sea Eagles tour with Lofoten Explorers and the 5hr road trip with Lofoten Lights tour operators.
I will definitely be returning to see the Northern lights.

Hotel located in the center of Svolvaer. It is very minimalist, automatic check-in by code, there is no reception, there is only a couple of vending machines, but everything is well written in the description and in my opinion, if you do not have particular demands and you only have the need to sleep before continuing your trip to the Lofoten islands is perfect and above all economical compared to other hotels. I am satisfied with my stay.
Dear Scandic Vestfjord Lofoten Team, we had an extraordinary stay at your lovely and cosy hotel. Thanks to the stuff, we felt like "at home" at your house. The breakfast was really perfect and such a large selection! We had a handicap room on the 1st floor, it was perfect and really quiet. The bed was also very comfortable! There are enough free parking spaces, and Svolvear ist perfect located for daily trips. Hope to see you again soon.
We only got to stay here for 1 night but I wish it was longer, the view is amazing and the hotel seemed nice. It has a great outdoor communal area.
The room had a mini kitchenette, however, there was also a communal kitchen area which is handy if you want to make your food.
I would recommend Lofoten Rorbuer.
great location, clean and comfortable rooms, space to sit and enjoy the view, electric car charging outside, good breakfast… the list could go on. This hotel exceeded our expectations and started our trip to lofoten on a high!
