First of all, personel was so nice and they were very helpful! Hotel has a locked storage room which was such a relief. It has also an elevator and the staircase looked like it came from 17th century - hypnotising! Neighborhood was just like an Oslo - clean and beautiful.

Spreading for hundreds of kilometres from the mouth of the Oslofjord, Oslo is the largest city by area in Europe and is liberally covered in pristine forests rising up into the outlying hills. South of the unassuming city hall lies a vibrant waterfront known as Aker Brygge, which in summer is full of bustling outdoor restaurants and bars.
For the prettiest buildings head to affluent inner-city suburbs of Frogner and Fagerborg, or admire the traditional Scandinavian wooden houses of Bygdøy and Holmenkollen. Monumental buildings include the Royal Palace which runs daily tours and the Akershus Festning, which is a medieval castle that also served as a military base and provides impressive views of the Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall, or rådhus, offers even more distinctive architecture and it is the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
Nature is never far away in Oslo which is ringed by an archipelago of islands which are extremely popular in summer. Hiking, kayaking and sailing are all easily achievable within the city limits. Just as popular, are the many museums. The national Museum houses Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream and Viking Ship Museum containing long-lost relics from Norway’s Viking past.
From downtown Sentrum to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the stunning statues in Frogner Park, Booking.com has over 80 hotels and other accommodations available.
Oslo has a lot to offer for 2-4 days. There are many museums and historical sights and good public transit to more natural surroundings. The fjord location makes a variety of water sports close at hand.
Weather can be variable, so plan to be flexible and always have a raincoat.

Oslo is a beautiful city with warm and welcoming people.
Oslo is a beautiful city with warm and welcoming people. We got the Oslo Pass for 72 hours and used it for public transport and 8 museums. Very good value. The city is very walkable, but extremely expensive! Take the regular train from the airport...half the price of the express and only 4 minutes longer!

Oslo is a totally walkable, beautiful city with many interesting things to see. I am sad that I was there only 1 day. People are friendly, everyone seems to speak English, which is great as I speak other languages but not Norwegian. The City Hall is not to be missed. The Resistance Museum was interesting, too. Beautiful parks, squares and the Royal Palace which is visible from many places. I will go back!

The cities are very clean, the air is clear and the weather was great.
Oslo is characterized by many beautiful tourist attractions .
The fun thing is that you can walk to them because they are close to each other.

Oslo is a very clean, friendly and relaxed capital with many interesting museums and sights. It is bite-size for touring ion foot and has a good public transportation system. The city has some beautiful neighborhoods, parks and buildings and the locals are very nice and welcoming.
Lots of variety at breakfast - yes it got busy and some things ran out, but the staff were always replenishing items and clearing tables throughout the breakfast time. Good selection of restaurants and bars in the roads just over the river from the hotel, as well as a supermarket. Walk north along the river worth doing to see the waterfalls. A convenient location with a selection of trams stopping outside the hotel - going direct to the city centre, main train station and the ferry terminal.
I spent two nights in Thon Hotel Spectrum, during a one week in Norway. What distinguishes it is a great, quiet location near the OSLO S station, delicious breakfast with various options and friendly, dedicated staff. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Hotel is very new with cool design and breakfest is very nice. Hotel location is good 10 walk to metro station and with metro 4-5 stops to the city center.
When travelling with kids, then Family room with bunk beeds is very good option.
It is not a bad hotel in the city centre next to the train station and shopping street. Good breakfast with a wide selection. The staff are friendly. The room is clean. The hotel price was not too expensive for a Thon hotel.
The hotel's location was highly advantageous, providing convenient access to the city centre. Its contemporary design and meticulous cleanliness contributed to an overall positive experience.
