Despite quite a bad weather, we really enjoyed this stay! First of all the staff was so kind with us, really committed to our pleasure and truly accommodating. The rooms are really good and comfortable and can’t be closer to the beach. This beach is not the most beautiful you will see in your life but still very cool.

The resort is stunning! It really does feel like a piece of paradise. I received such a warm welcome, the staff are so lovely, they are very friendly and so helpful. And I have to highlight the breakfast, which was heavenly and served by one of the most attentive and friendly staff I have ever experienced in a hotel. I highly recommend staying here, you will love the relaxation.

We are still having post holiday withdrawal symptom from this trip! We've stayed for a total of 8 knights and love every single day of it.
Staffs - Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We communicated via WhatsApp and their response has always been so prompt! Appreciate how they've also made a point to remember your names and sometimes even your room number! Appreciate the daily kuehs to the room accompanied by bedtime stories (it is a lovely touch) Thank you for also surprising us with the delicious kueh dar dar to bring home! I love it!
Facilities/Activites - Initially we felt 8 nights were too long for a resort holiday but we were so wrong. The facilities here were lovely and self sufficient. We absolutely enjoyed the water and land activities, pool bar and swimming pool. My toddler really enjoyed the kids club (he really loves the staffs there), farm, beach and swimming pool.
We truly appreciate the different workshops conducted by the resorts such as towel making, coffee tasting and daily morning yoga (it was really a great way to start the day).
Although the location was a little far from jetty it was worth the travel as my family had a blast at The Residence Bintan. We will definitely return!

TP is not really a tourist place.
TP is not really a tourist place. The infrastructure is not really developed and the rubbish and water pollution is not under control.
Its certainly interresting to see a third world country , but without any help of local people a foreingner is lost.

Not much of tourism destination. But food is excellent and cheap. A great choice of seafood lover. Lack of convenience public transport for tourist. Local people are tremendously nice . Spent your time to visit Penyengat island which is nearby for a culture and heritage experience !

Tanjung Pinang is provincial, despite it's status as the regional capital, so doesn't have a significant tourist industry but there are indeed things to see and do on a short trip.. One of the local restaurants, the Manabu, is close by, with a great view and good food.

We visited the thousand statues, Trikora beach and not to skip the Lagoi Bay. I met a gentlemen from German taking photograph at the Lagoi bay. It was a wonderful trip. My daughter enjoyed driving all the way utilizing the GPS. We took our dinner at Tomo Restaurant as Manabu restaurant was fully reserved. This will be our next visit.

Love historical value of Pulau Penyengat!
The seafood at Pulau Penyengat jetty was super fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced.
Please avoid monsoon months if you are coming from Malaysia via ferry. Taking flight will be a better option.

The private beach is great. The service crew and staff definitely went the extra mile during our stay.
My husband dropped his phone in the land transfer car, after we had checked out and have already reached the ferry terminal. Called the hotel reception and they managed to contact the driver and he had the phone delivered back to us. A very big thank you and grateful for this!
Clean, spacious room and veneer flooring. The rooms were clean everyday. Sky lounge and aroma laut have great food and portions are just right. The hotel is near to KFC, provision shop, pharmacy and terminal. Everything is easy to access and walking distance.
We need to check out very early at 5.30am and it was very nice of the hotel to pack noodles for us to take away with us. No response from housekeeping and we have to call front desk when we run out of toilet, response was fast.
I don’t like the way they promoted the hotel on the website with all the information and pictures that they published. This is not a honest thing to do.
