Location is optimal to catch the early ferry to Gili T. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the AC worked flawlessly. The shower was also in good stay. The staff was helpful and the owner (I think) was responsive on WhatsApp. He helped me arranging the reservation for the ferry.

This is an excellent location for those looking to catch a ferry. I landed and went straight to Mama's homestay to get a good night's sleep after flying from England, before catching the boat to Gili the next day. I was welcomed by the entire family, had helpful suggestions for where to go nearby, and could even have an in-house massage arranged for an additional fee. I was kindly offered a lift to the port the next morning, and left feeling welcomed to Bali and refreshed. Super value.

It was easy to get around but little to do nearby. A great turtle conservation centre that will keep most people occupied for up to an hour. It's very easy to get to the ports - one of the best port experiences I've had in Bali where you aren't overwhelmed by people trying to / demanding they order you taxis or sell you things.
