Generally OK, but is not a real European hotel, its Islandic "hotel" for a very high price :)

The spacious room, modern, cosy and clean! The hotel location also perfect for people that needs to take a morning flight since it's 5 mins away by car. Too bad we didn't get a chance to stay longer.

Nice location- close to the airport and the town of Keflavik.
We are located in a walk-able downtown of Keflavík and only a mere 5-minute drive from KEF Keflavik International Airport. WiFI is available through out public space and guest rooms.

Close to the airport. Accessible room. Saw the Northern Lights out the back of the hotel/from my room window (which faced the back). Luggage store was available to use until check in time. Staff were helpful communicating prior to arrival by email and during my stay (helping me to get my bag to my room). Small shop in hotel lobby. Tokyo restaurant had buffet breakfast (hot and cold) and dinner menu with Japanese foods. Room had hairdryer, iron with ironing board, tea and coffee tray, safe, mini fridge.
Just a 5-minute drive from Keflavík International Airport, this hotel offers free parking, WiFi and gym access.

A great place for a 24 hour stay waiting for my next flight. The staff are very pleasant and very knowledgeable. Hotel very clean and very relaxing. On my next visit in the spring of 2025, I will stay there.

beds comfy somewhere near airport not too expensive
Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik...
Vogar is obviously just a bedroom community for Reykjavik with little there except a hotel, a motel, and a single uninteresting restaurant. It is convenient to the airport, the Blue Lagoon, and an excellent lava tube attraction. It is also close to the recent volcano eruption should you want to see than. The volcano was sleeping when we visited. It is far out of the path of the lava flow so it is quite safe.

It was close to airport.
It was close to airport. Room was overpriced for the accommodation. Breakfast we had to pay for but wish we would have just stopped at a gas station instead. The guy wears a chef jacket but only thing that was cooked was boiled eggs. Price for breakfast was too costly for what you get.
We booked Hotel Vogar to be close to the airport and not pay the high rates of those hotels next to KEF. That part worked exactly as planned and the 20 minute drive to KEF was simple. The buildings at Hotel Vogar are old, but that is fine because they are clean and spacious.
