The best feature of the Ranna hotel is its location, right on the beach in Parnu. If you're lucky enough to get a room with a sea view, then you will enjoy an experience that is hard to beat anywhere else. It is a very impressive hotel, from the moment you enter through the doors to reception, up the stairway, through to the bar and restaurant. The hotel sets themselves very high standards and they repeatedly meet those standards.
We booked a room with a balcony and a sea view, and it was really the view that made us return to Ranna hotel, having visited previously in 2023. Being mid-January what we witnessed was a snow-covered beach, and a semi-frozen sea. It was truly spectacular. Obviously we could not use the balcony, but the view made up for everythings.
Breakfast was very good. There was a wide selection of food and definitely enough to satisfy the needs of the vast majority of people.
Staff were very courteous and the check-in process was seamless. They even allowed us check in a little early as the room was ready.
Lastly, parking is free in the off-season, which is a small but very nice thing.

I used to live in Pärnu for some years and it has always been my favorite town to live in. Large enough to have everything you need, small enough to not get lost in the people and their hurry. Beautiful parks, riverside, lots of greenery, great restaurants and to top it all off - the sea. The summer tourist season can be a bit much for people like me who like more space, but the town itself makes up for that.
Plenty of transportation options from busses, taxis, rental bikes and scooters to even boats to take out in the river or the sea.
Beautiful place, which I always have and always will recommend to visit to anyone who's never been there.

Amazing beach.
Amazing beach. Good restaurants, but hard to get place outdoors and indoors don't have air-conditioning. The quality varies a lot! and you may not get what you ordered from the menu... happened to us in 4 different restaurants and they didn't even mention it, just brought different stuff... and when complained, didn't think it was a biggy. The city centre is closed from cars so be prepared to walk somewhat long distances. Not a problem if you have no disabilities. Lots of things to do for families with kids. Lively summer town, but not suitable for shopping. Mostly good weather and even if it rains, it's still warm. Places are open late which was positive.

It's a beautiful city, but there is nothing to do in the colder weather. Everything closes quickly on Sundays. I recommend visiting this city in the warmer months of the year. Definitely check out Mini Zoo!

Pärnu is old bathing centre, with wonderful historical buildings, and villas dating back from Jugend and Art Noveau periods. Our stay in Pärnu was in early August, yet the sea water temparatures were seasonally relatively low. There were few swimmers at the main beach, as the weather was windy with occasional showers of rain. But the landscape and seascape were marvellous and there is plenty to do also in the old town. The restaurant scene has much improved in the past years and there is reasonable variety available for both budget travellers and more high-end venues. Everything is reasonable near-by and walking or cycling around is practical.

A wonderful city with clean streets and a beautiful beach!
I didn't stay long, as it was just a place for me to stay in the hotel and have lunch, but I will never cease to be amazed, at how nice Parnu is every time I visit this place.
We had food at 'Vehverments Bar & Tostadas' and I was very impressed by how delicious and affordable it was. Yellow hummus is a must-try!

A beautiful and cozy hotel just in the middle of Old Town of Pärnu, and most of all the friendliest staff you can imagine. A good night's sleep in comfortable beds. A very atmospheric restaurant. Our baby slept better there than in months :) A washing machine was a nice surprise.
Lovely hotel located close to Pärnu beach and town. Room was comfy and it was great to have access to a pool. Tasty buffet breakfast with plenty of veggie (and vegan) options. Staff were able to store our luggage on check out which was helpful.
The room had its own AC unit, which was efficient in warm weather. Also liked that the bathroom had bidee shower, which is not common in hotels of Estonia. Patio is nice and green. Location in the old town is great.
Breakfast was extraordinary, and so was the staff. The hotel has a fantastic historical interior, the rooms are clean. The location of the hotel is the best it can be in Pärnu
Clean, comfortable and well designed rooms, modern furniture. Superb balcony view to sea and park. Probably best Estonia aqua park. Excellent food in hotel restaurant.
