We have previously loved staying at Stuart house. The rooms are nicely decorated, toiletries smell lovely and there’s a good selection of tea and coffee facilities in the room. Parking is great as you have spaces directly outside the property and also easy access to the high street.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We arrived with rather large suitcases (since we were travelling for more than 10 days) and one of our rooms was on the first floor. The male staff doing our check-in also gave us a hand in carrying both suitcases up to our room.
We also highly appreciate the great hospitability extended by the female staff serving our breakfast. She was very thoughtful and offered us various things, making sure we were well looked after. She also struck interesting conversations with us, telling us more about the B&B and how they were preparing for Christmas.
Another plus is the Nespresso machine in our rooms. Most of the B&B we visited offered instant coffee in the room.

Stow on the Wold is a beautiful market town in The Cotswolds. Full of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. We’ve been coming to Stow for years and we still love it just as much. It’s definitely a home from home for us.

Great town.
Great town. Locals were super friendly especially in the The Stow Lodge who fit us in for dinner one evening (everywhere else was full). Lots of independent shops and ideal for visiting the area. Also worth visiting the famous Door of Durin which is situated at the church for all Tolkien fans. Another mention goes to The Sheep on Sheep street who were amazing! Lovely food and exceptional, friendly service which made our wedding anniversary memorable.

We liked the Architecture of the town.
We liked the Architecture of the town. There were plenty of little shops to wander around. There were plenty of places to eat. It was very pleasant sitting near the old stocks. The Indian restaurant was excellent and we had good fish and chips. Stow on the wold is well placed to visit other towns like Broadway. Stow is flat on the whole and is easy to walk around.

We found Stow on the Wold an excellent base to explore the Cotswolds. You do need a car to explore all the lovely little towns. We visited a number of the villages in the Cotswolds including Broadway, Bourton-on-the-Water, Burford, Upper & Lower Slaughter, Bibury & Chipping Campden, although all beautiful we still thought Stow on the Wold was the best location to stay. It is not as busy as some of the others and offers great pubs, dining and shops .

Great location, exactly where you want to be in Stow on the Wold, you can walk to all the pubs, restaurants etc. Check in was super easy and done all online and so you simply receive a code for both doors so you don't have to do anything when you turn up. The room was very large and spacious and super comfy bed, and room was pretty quiet considering it's right next to a busy road.
The hotel was in an excellent location in the middle of Stow-on-the-Wold with good parking. The room was comfortable, though the lighting was a bit dim for our liking. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. There was a good choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was very nice. The staff were very cheerful, helpful, polite and friendly.
A perfect little 'pied a terre' for our long weekend in the Cotswolds. A charming property in a great location in the gorgeous market town of Stow on the Wold.
Been many times since it first changed from the old hotel. It’s brilliant for us as we have two small dogs. Lovely and spacious with bags of character.
