Peta the host was very friendly, helpful and kind, she made us feel really welcome. We arrived quite late in the evening but she made sure that our room was warm and cosy. Room was spacious with refreshments such as tea/coffee etc. The shower was nice, plenty of warm water, it was really great not to have to take our own toilettries such as shower gel, shampoo soap etc. Amazing bed, very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was good. We had a pleasant overnight stay, we are just sorry that we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the facilities more. We will definitely stay at Vobster Inn again in the near future.

    Reasonable amount of food outlets.

Reasonable amount of food outlets. I went to a place with family which was outside Radstock to eat. It is easy to get around by car but public transport is a bit scarce. For a small town it generates a lot of through traffic but it is situated between 2 cities

Really good food and large portions. Friendly bubbly staff.

Really good food and large portions. Friendly bubbly staff. Land Lady very helpful with places to visit. Suggested bus to Bath with our bus passes bus stop really close, we caught bus so didn't have any trouble of parking. Visited Wells on Market day. Pub not far away from Cheddar or Bath. Even though they held two wakes while were staying there it didn't affect their service to locals or any other guests. Had a Parrott called Pee WEE which was very entertaining.

This was an excellent choice as a base being midway from Bristol or Bath. There are eating places close to the Hotel. Radstock was a mining town and there is a museum just across the road from the hotel.

Quiet little village. Set on main road to bath. Poor transport links. Fairly close proximity to other villages with access to larger stores and supermarkets Small museum opposite hotel, quite a modern looking place

The host was very responsive - we had an internet problem on a Saturday over the Xmas weekend and he managed to contact an engineer and got it sorted out - first class. We had seven persons staying (5 adults + 2 kids) whereas normally it sleeps 6 adults. The host was very accommodating. The house is a very nice family space and was excellent for making Xmas lunch and entertaining later in the day. Great to see all of the wildlife - deer and squirrels included.

Location was excellent for our visit to Bath. Room was lovely, and we had an excellent, great value evening meal, with a more than generous breakfast the following morning. Maxine and her staff do a wonderful job. If the hotel was nearer to our home, then we would definitely use the restaurant regularly.

Very friendly host and good accommodation. Breakfast was included with the room rate and was of a great standard. Evening Supper is available at the venue and the food was excellent. The room was a good size and had efficient heating. There was plenty of storage space, good quality tv and free wifi.

Nothing - I arrived after a long journey to be told that the hotel had double booked me via booking.com and could not accommodate me.
