Beautiful boutique hotel. Excellent location, right at the centre of the town. Friendly staff and very helpful.

Well presented room with all the essentials. Nice clean bedding and comfortable beds. Good shower. Breakfast and evening meal at the Marstons Inn opposite which was all nice and fresh with a good variety of choice.

Great village/small town. Lots to do what with pubs and great little shops around including the outdoor Market on a Wednesday and Saturday.

Lovely town with great pubs and places to eat serving qreat food. Great walks along the canal. Great place to break the journey and only 5 mins off the M6. Peaceful and quiet town. Can walk round the town and canal in an hour. The Boat Inn is a great place to eat as is the Littleton Arms.

The best thing about our stay in Penkridge was the walk into the village for something to eat, we went to the Longridge Inn which was excellent. As already stated on arrival at the Hatherton Hotel we thought we had arrived at the wrong place because it looked completely derilict and not as shown on the Booking doc com website the picture was obviously the one that had been taken when the hotel was thriving.

Hotel was not really in walking distance, we drove to go out for tea, tried to ring a couple of pubs however no answer apart from the boat house lovely pub, staff were friendly, did get a but noisy outside as the drinks were flowing. Near to our hotel was the market which is massive and have anything you are really looking for.
Staff super helpful and kind, room big and clean, price is good, especially when travelling with dogs. A nice walk down to Penkridge for food and shopping.
