The Ceral breakfast was a lovely gesture, There was tea, coffee, sugar, milk, jam, snacks, cheese, crackers, and beverages..and toiletries in the apartments, its the little things that make a stay enjoyable. The location is in a beautiful quiet area with all the amenities within walking distance and there's a lovely hotel/restaurant just around the corner that cook the most delicious food ie lunch/dinner its one of my favourite places to eat and the staff are so friendly and helpful too, I found no fault in the apartment i was staying in and would 💯 recommend anyone to stay here in the Downshire arms apartments you won't be disappointed 10/10

The little town Camlough we stayed in was really lovely and you can walk around it's shops easily as they are close together. Great variety of places to eat and a large nisa extra convenient store. Being a coffee lover, I never seen as many signs advertising coffee available along our traveling route it was amazing but such a tease as you can't be having coffee pit stops every 5 minutes or my partner would just leave me out by one of the coffee trailers for the whole day by myself lol.

Newry is my home town with only 3 hotels in the vicinity and a handful of apartments. I stayed at The Beeches, a superb addition to the apartments on here. Newry is a compact city with a good range of restaurants and shopping centres. It is an excellent base to explore Carlingford Lough (both shores), the Mournes and Slieve Gullion Country Park.

The people were really friendly, right from the moment we arrived at the train station, everyone was very helpful. There is a free shuttle bus from the train station to the centre of Newry. Ideal for shopping with 2 shopping centres and loads of lovely places to eat. Lovely pubs with live music for a night out. Also easy to get to Belfast for a visit. We had dinner in Bellini’s and drinks and great band in The Bridge Pub. When In a hurry one evening and looking for something to eat quickly, we went to Friar Tucks. Food was delicious in both places.

If you're looking for a taste of small village life in Ireland, this is a great place to stay. It's fairly well situated about halfway between Dublin and Belfast (an hour + drive in either direction). People are friendly and very helpful. Slieve Gullion is a mountain nearby with ancient significance and great hiking.

Very nice area near Mourne Mountains, less than 1 hour drive Belfast City centre. The pub and hotel in the village serve delicious food at affordable prices. The house is big, clean and good Internet, tv and wii console. Seán was great to deal with. The key collection was easily arranged, and we weren't rushed when leaving
