You can tell it's family run because the staff seemed to care about providing a friendly and hospitable service. The check in and out was good and the reception man personally took me over the road to my room. The house across the road was ideal because it was generally quiet. The room was small but exactly what I needed. The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate.

Historic building with plenty of car parking space. Welcoming team and old fashioned ambience in the public rooms and in the Windsor bedroom which we occupied. Good tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Sumptuous Egyptian bed linen and nice towels.

The hotel was modern, clean and very comfortable, and ideally situated for Gatwick Airport.
The nearby town centre had plenty of bar and restaurant options and the hotel reception staff were very happy to help with suggestions and distances.
We were only there for an early Gatwick flight but would have been very happy to have stayed for longer

The entrance is within the terminal at the lower level, it took me a while to find it as some of the signs were not clear. The hotel is minimalist, but the rooms are comfortable, clean and all you need for a bed for the night before flying early the next morning. A croissant/muffin and coffee at 5am is a good start to the day.
I will stay again as living over two hours from Gatwick it is much better than getting up at 3am.

Horley is nothing special, I asked a local of anything interesting to see, while I had some time to kill, she suggested the Library,
Nothing much from outside and it did required a library card to open the door.

Horley has a small town centre with pubs, restaurants, shops and a big Waitrose! I've been to the pubs for meals in the past but not on this occasion. The town is unobjectionable; nothing special but nothing to complain about. You have to walk along Massetts Road to get there and the lighting at night is a bit on the low side; There was very little traffic and few people but it felt safe.

I was there for an international lay over. Completely recommend going to The Tavern pub. I went to Wetherspoons first and whilst it was cheaper, the atmosphere in The Tavern was hilarious. I am still laughing about it now a day later.

I would never stay there again.
I would never stay there again. They accept dogs, but don't give allowance for it, the room is to small. Our Bed was comfortable, but this is the only positive thing I can say. The dinner service was shocking, we had to wait for a starter over 3/4 of an hour and there were only 3 further guests there. We also questioned how much longer we will have to wait and were told "it takes as long as it takes." As the starter took so long we have also ordered a Caesar salad which did not arrive (it should be served before the food!) So we had to cancel over an argument with the waiter . The " gentleman" carried on shouting 10 minutes after we left in the kitchen so that all the visitors in their bedrooms and restaurant could hear him. We have complaint there and then at the reception and I do hope our complaint has gone further. One thing is for sure if they do allow dogs then there should be water bowls, poo bags (I take my own, but not all dog owners do) and also a designated area where they can do their business. I will NEVER stay there again and make sure enough people I know get to know about it.

The Corner House Hotel is located very near Gatwick Airport; there is a bus stop a few hundred metres away. It is also in walking distance from Horley centre with pubs and shops. The hotel had a very pleasant atmosphere and my room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom (use only for that room) was across the hall) I had a very good evening meal and breakfast there. I used the hotel shuttle to get to the airport which was very convenient. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again in future.
Incredibly convenient for Gatwick airport/Crawley/Horley. Literally a 5 minute drive from the south terminal to the farmhouse. Room was well appointed and comfortable. Very simple check in and out process. Has a rural feel to it despite being so close to everything. Would definitely book again if the need arises.
Quiet clean hotel with good facilities. We arrived a few hours early before check-in but the staff accommodated us very quickly. They also spent quite a bit of time arranging transport for us into Crawley. Breakfast was great.
Good shuttle service to Gatwick Airport
Near Gatwick without high prices. Train £2 to airport regular even at 0400hrs about 4 min journey. . Also buses. 15 walk from the horley train station.
