Henley-on-Thames is a wonderful place, lot's of historic pub's, plenty of really nice eateries, it was very festive, I would imagine it is lovely in the summer by the river, a bit to cold to be outside in December, we will definitely return, totally recommend a visit.

A very good French Bakery in the town for take away snacks
Fabulous food at The Angel Pub near the bridge within sight of property so no need to take car.
The Relais hotel near the bridge does a good breakfast if they are not too busy with guests!

The room was very nice although a little dated though clean and tidy and the staff were excellent.
The Weathspoon restaurant was another thing just felt the staff were in a rush, They brought my starter and main course out together and after eating my starter I went to the bar for another drink and the waitress took my maincourse away without me even eating it I had to wait another 15 minutes while they prepared another meal what a waste of food.

It is a friendly community with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is a delightful village that we want to make it our next UK destination to go on day trips. It is a charming village. Don't pass this place up.

Henley is lovely, beautiful views along the river.
Henley is lovely, beautiful views along the river. Also, some great bars and restaurants to visit. Amazing shopping too, lots of charity shops (which I love!) but also some nice designer shops. There's a train station if you want to go further afield. People are nice.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located close to all the downtown area for restaurants and shopping. The square is amazing with lots of activities.

Really great stay. My friend and I booked to stay the night as we were running an ultra marathon the next morning starting from the front of the hotel. We woke up refreshed & relaxed thanks to the great stay!
