The Music Room - Kingsize Double - Sleeps 2 - Quirky - Rural, hotel in Haslemere

Offering a garden and garden view, The Music Room - Kingsize Double - Sleeps 2 - Quirky - Rural is located in Haslemere, 29 km from Goodwood Racecourse and 32 km from Jane Austen's House Museum.

It was very cute and quirky and the bed was comfortable. Toiletries were left in the bathroom for us to use, but the hand soap was watered down, so there wasn't much left. We didn't see the host, but we were able to communicate via email. We only stayed 1 night to attend a wedding, so we weren't really in the property for too long. Milk left in fridge and tea and coffee provided, along with a couple of danishes left for us for breakfast, which was a nice touch.

The Devil's Punchbowl Hotel, hotel in Haslemere

Situated in the picturesque village of Hindhead, The Devil’s Punchbowl Hotel is opposite the namesake natural amphitheatre.

the bed was comfortable and the made the bed every morning. The breakfast included in the booking was really cheap. there's a parking lot outside the hotel, but is not super close if you have large luggage to move it. Luckily if it's not too busy you can park at the pub's parking lot. it's very close to the hospital if you have to visit it.

The rooms were clean and tidy , shower and toilet were efficient. The complex is spread out over a large area outside so you do not necessarily stay in the main part of the hotel so this means to use the spa you have to walk outside past the main hotel. Not a big problem if the weather is OK but a bit inconvenient if the weather is wet or cold. Spa is in a nice complex but it could do with a makeover, such things as tiles falling off the walls and the sauna could do with some attention. Be careful of the service charge at dinner, they will charge 12% and do not mention it on the menu. Hence we skipped dinner on the second night and went into Haslemere where there are some nice restaurants and pubs.

Should have bean told of the refurbishment and the closed restaurant before we turned up. Contacted the hotel separately and still only got a reply on the Monday of the stay, stating Tudor restaurant closed with full menu at Collina restaurant. For which was incorrect. It will be lovely when finished.

The stay was so cozy and relaxing and very very clean, to be honest was way beyond our expectations. The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome and were always there to answer any inquiries we had. The food was so tasty and we were super surprise because I am very picky eater and very hard to please, We had the best fish and chips ever, the following morning I requested breakfast in bed which they offer in the hotel and that was so good. To be honest the price was to low and it deserves to be more, I have stayed in 5 star hotels and paid fortune and still not satisfied. If your passing thru the area please don’t think twice. I will definitely go back. harper's haslemere thank you for making our stay welcoming and enjoyable.

What a cute town. Typical English feel to it.

What a cute town. Typical English feel to it. Some great restaurants and pubs, and even a cute Italian place that served pizzas with faces on them, specially for the kids. Clean, easy to navigate and worth a visit.

We were unfortunate that there was some construction work taking place, that was quite a disturbing. The breakfast was very basic not exciting. The property is very beautiful but there is no much information about where to go and not to go.

Nice country town- mostly boutique type shops some chains eg smiths and boots. 3 supermarkets- M&S Waitrose and tescos. Gorgeous countryside if you like walking. Near petworth park which has loads of deer. Haslemere has some markets during the year_ tad expensive though. Good pubs as well.

Such a lovely experience from check in to check out. Friendly staff, lovely room, breakfast good. Room was comfortable, quiet, well equipped and we had patio doors onto an outside area. I loved the variety of wild meadow flowers growing there. I could not improve this hotel.

Quality of our the room and the en-suite bathroom was high. Fresh milk in the fridge for our tea was very pleasant (and sustainable). Decor of hotel is high standard and there is a good choice of dishes on the restaurant menu.
