I was 175 miles from home for an exhibition. I needed a place for an overnight stay. I have stayed here before and once again I was very happy with the location and the facilities. Excellent facilities in both room and restaurant. Friendly and efficient staff. Good choice of food for both dinner and breakfast. Very good prices - I will be back. Nice to know before I arrived that I would be happy with where I would be staying.

    Asked for twin room.

Asked for twin room. On arrival double bed which was seperated two very narrow single bed. No tv remote control had to ask second day no second set of towels. Third day no tea bags left. Only small things but annoying. People parking car under the window where there was no designated space when spaces available in car park. We had ground floor room and the fire door constantly propped open. No drawer or cupboard to store clothing.

I stay here when visit family. We all have a family meal together in the spread eagle and has always been most enjoyable. Breakfast the next morning is a delight. Too much to choose from unlimited tea coffee juices. Superb choice. Rooms are a good size good size bathroom. Large tv on the wall, if you need one.

No information given about how to get breakfast.

No information given about how to get breakfast. No one to ' meet and greet'. Overall. the food aspect was the weakest link. Shocking delay with our meal despite pre- booking. Three children kept waiting over an hour. Room well-serviced, although I had to ask for quick H hoover at the outset when I found crumbs on the carpet Easy access to the nearby garden centre..
