Stay here for a week if you can! We are crushed that our visit was so short. The hosts are the friendliest, nicest folks we've ever met. They were there to welcome us with mint tea when we drove up, and spent ages walking us through all the amenities of their wonderful apartment and community. They look after even the smallest detail -- they even closed the blinds on one of the windows so the chocolate the put on the bed didn't melt! They pointed us to the best spots to go for mountain views (the local reservoir) and country-road running (with possible 3k, 4.5k and 6k routes drawn on a color-coded map) and answered every question we could come up with. The room itself is tremendous -- a freestanding one-room structure tucked into the garden below their house. It's super private, but has views of the hills, fields and mountains beyond.

This worked as a good overnight for me when cycling through the area. Note that it isn't staffed over the weekend. So if you are staying on a Saturday or Sunday night you collect the key from a box by the front door and sort yourself out. This was easy enough, but oddly they only shared the code via phone rather than in the email/message. - The building itself is quite nice. Especially the seating area and garden. - Quiet spot about a 5 minute walk from cafe/bakery, restaurant, and little supermarket. - Well stocked fridge and freezer for cool drinks (extra but reasonable cost).
