The room was spacious, the bed was big. The shower was hot and powerful. I enjoyed the breakfast.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Location was okay. If I go back to the area I'd probably choose a hotel in Zermatt instead of Tasch. Trains run regularly between the two towns but it's about £15 return. Taking that into account it might be cheaper to find a hotel in Zermatt.
The Hotel Mountime is located next to the Täsch train station, what together with the hotel's non-stop shuttle service, provides for easy access to Zermatt. It offers free Wi-Fi.
Hotel Taescherhof is located in Täsch, 5 km from Zermatt. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. Certain units include a seating area to relax in after a busy day.

The location is super amazing and apt for Zermatt. Skip staying in zermatt if youre ready to take a quick train ride from Tasch. And the view from the room was so epic. Ask for the room facing the opposite side of the parking lot. Breakfast is basic however sumptuous. Restaurants open till 9pm ish arounf the hotel as well. Parking space is good enough. Budget friendly, in terms of switzerland
The family-run Hotel City is located next to the train station in Täsch, from where you can reach Zermatt in 12 minutes. It offers you free Wi-Fi and tasty regional cuisine.

The hosts were lovely.
If walking to Tasch to catch the train to Zermatt with your own skis and boots it is quite a way especially when coming home after skiing at night.

It was very nice, but we didn't spend much time there. Our main goal was to get to Zermatt and see the Matterhorn which was fogged in 30 years ago when we last visited. The train station was very nice and clean. It was easy to purchase the tickets on the machines provided.

Tasch is the car parking and coach drop point for Zermatt, has a couple of nice restaurants slightly cheaper than Zermatt.
Has a train station coffee and convenience store.. As well as a couple of small supermarkets, though Zermatt's Co-op is better.
Good place to stay at the camp-site or a short stay into Zermatt,

I have looked at some of the other reviews and they all said that it was good, especially as the parking was included. I will say that this was not the case for us. When we arrived, we parked our car in a slot outside, there was a man there who told us that the parking would be 8 FSF per night. Then we tried to go into the building, the 1st difficult for me, was there were 5/6 stairs to get to the level where the entrance to the hotel was, then no one at receptionist, we were on the time that we stated that we would arrive., only then to find we had to go somewhere else for the keys. Unacceptable,
When we finally got in, the room was big, clean and a good balcony , this part was fine.

Tasch is a small village near Zermatt that is such a great place to stay. An accessible place with everything you need without having to stay in the thick of things (like Zermatt). Very peaceful.
1. Easily accessible by train with them coming and going every 20mins all day. There is a machine or you can go to the window and get human assistance buying tickets.
2. 2 very decent grocery stores as well as a few restaurants.
3. People are friendly and helpful
4. Small village so everything is within a 5-10min walk.
5. View and weather are lovely.
6. Sidewalk/trail runs parallel to the stream and you can walk to the next town easily.

Easy access to trains to visit Zermatt.
Easy access to trains to visit Zermatt. Zermatt is just one stop away from Tasch and we can grab our tickets at Tasch station.
Zermatt is a place where there are wide variety of restaurants with warm people.
Tasch is a beautiful place in itself and there are lots of walking trails which we can experience along the river streams and mountain views.

Loved this hotel mainly for its location. Right beside the Tasch train station. Our room was facing the track + a view where we could see the red trains coming in & out frequently! The staff- Barbara was very friendly and helpful, made us feel welcomed. Hotel is only 15mins away from Zermatt via train. But you won't even feel the time as the view from the train ride is lovely.
Beautiful hotel near the Tasch Terminal station. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Our room had a beautiful balcony with a view of the mountains and river. Friendly staffs. Good breakfast. Free underground parking.
It was one of our many previous visits to Tasch and we tried different accommodations , but this was one of the best. Will come back here next time!!
