We loved our stay at La Joux Chaupe. The room was beautiful, very clean, very well appointed, with a beautiful view. The location was so beautiful. We just wish we could have stayed longer!

The location was close to amenities and everything was as described. I was surprised that there was no Wi-Fi at the property, although that is clearly indicated in the description of the property. The host was very accommodating, however, and was quick to respond to any questions and offer us assistance.

The wifi was solid. I was worried the window coverings would be inadequate at keeping out the light but they actually did a decent job. Nice people.
This hotel has a charm all its own. It is set up to suggest the medieval era with sound effects in the halls, high beds with sumptuous bedding, showers in wooden cylinders and the latrine across the hall. It made us smile when we first entered the hotel and we continued to enjoy the unusual ambience for our whole visit. The breakfast was great with lots of food choices.
