The beautiful Verzasca valley is a fabulous setting for this great hotel. We only stayed for one night but enjoyed a great walk along the river, sunny skies, a lovely dinner and a very comfortable night’s sleep. Davide is extremely helpful and welcoming, both before and after our arrival.

Perfect location in the village of Brione, right next to the bus stop. Old house, very simple but absolutely fine as a base for a hiking holiday. Rosolino was a lovely host.

The location, wow! We only had a day in the area, we wished we’d had more.
We ate in the restaurant for dinner which was good and breakfast with a view in the morning.
The bed was comfortable.

Lovely staff, great food and the private sauna downstairs was the best (sauna usage costs extra). A very early check-in due to the bad weather was no problem. Pet friendly hotel.
Located in the village Vogorno, Hotel Pizzo Vogorno is surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. It is an ideal starting point for excursions, hikes and mountain tours in the Valle Verzasca.

Excellent location for exploring the Verzasca valley with a bus stop in front of the hotel and the possibility to take the free bus. Locarno and Ascona are close. The hotel has free parking.
The staff was nice and friendly, especially Simone, always in a good mood, he helped us plan routes around the area.

Definitely worth a stay! The meat and cheese for breakfast was exceptional, even within a country which prides itself on both. While this place can be hard to reach (especially around midday, when the local buses inexplicably stop running) it feels like a time warp, and the project to resuscitate this little village is impressive. My room had low ceilings, but since I am short this was oddly satisfying rather than challenging. The dinner was also delicious and well-presented.
Featuring free WiFi and a terrace, Locanda Villa d'Epoca offers pet-friendly accommodation in Aurigeno, 31 km from Lugano. Free private parking is available on site.

Super cozy and comfy atmosphere in the house, very friendly phone contact with hosts, kitchen and bathroom well equipped, I felt safe with easy locking system and neighborhood, surprisingly good small village supermarket just a few meters away, close parking opportunities, Brione bouldering spots all within comfortable walking distance. I strongly wished I could have stayed longer.
The room was very clean and the patio was a nice place to sit and relax. You can walk out the door to a path that went all the way along the valley into Lavertezzo. The staff were very friendly at both the hotel and restaurant. They all did their best to accommodate us only speaking English. It was a short stay but wonderful.
very nice, helpfull and friendly staff. Everything was so easy and convinient with Davide. Grazie mille!
Room had a lot of daylight, beautifull view to the mountains and small garden, Restaurant next door was delicious and busstaion in front of the hotel.
