Very nice hotel. A lot of things to do with small kids, good food, amazing breakfast and very nice people who working there. But the beds was the worst part, very uncomfortable to sleep.

We loved the hotel’s location, as we were able to hop on our skis first thing in the morning, while getting down to town was just as easily accessible with the little mountain lift. We especially appreciated that our dogs were the most welcome, also meeting many more furry friends during our stay. In addition, we were able to utilize the relaxation area (including the outdoor hot tubs) with no additional cost, which was a perfect way to rest and relax.
I love to ski at Åre and go annually. The mountain is excellent with a large variety of terrain. I mostly ski advanced terrain but there is also a nice mix of intermediate and beginner slopes. For advanced skiers, head to the VM:8. Its worth trying Duved for Intermediates and Björnen for the beginners. I usually go on the train from Stockholm which is very convenient and fast to go city center to town center. It's really nice to stay in Åre By where there are restaurants and stores. Apres ski at Fjällgården and Årehyddan are great as is the atmosphere at Broken.

Are was great, but the surroundings were amazing.
Are was great, but the surroundings were amazing. Loved staying in the town near the funicular railway, however, we were XC skiing so had to drive to the resorts. Skiied at Bjornen, but the real secret is to drive out to Valadalen which is magical. Beautiful scenery, clean air, very few people and fabulously maintained ski tracks.
First of all the service is excellent, everyone that attended us in the desk was super professional and nice.
All the facilities are very clean, in particular the storage for the skiing gear, normally it gets dirty pretty fast but they managed to keep it extemely clean through out the day. This room and after ski changing rooms are great.
The breakfast was delicious with a lot of different options.
Appliances like the cooker, dishwasher, fridge, showers etc are quite new and work very well.
The communal areas are very good - great table for playing card games. Sauna was good as well.
Underfloor heating took a few hours to warm the house, but we found it very effective.
This house located next to the forest and beautiful waterfall Ristafallet. Not far from Åre and well suited for family holidays. The house has a fireplace, which will make your stay even more cozy.
