Good location. Room was on the small side but had a great view. Clean but a little cramped for two people as there was hardly space to open our luggage. Amenities were replenished everyday.

We only stayed two nights in Nagoya because it connects many of the Shinkansen tracks, and because of the Ghibli Park. It's very easy to get to Tokyo, Takayama, Kyoto, Osaka, etc. from here.
The city is extremely large in terms of buildings and streets, and seems to be wealthy. Some parts of the city look very European/American, and it seems to have a large Chinese population. Sadly, we were too late to visit Nagoya castle and were only able to see it from afar, as the park closes at night.
We did, however, enjoy our brief visit to the camera store (we needed an SD card). Nagoya seems to be great for shopping, if that's your thing.

We really loved the food. The choices were so varied.
We really loved the food. The choices were so varied. We stayed for 6 days and we still didn’t get the chance to eat in the restaurants we listed down.
We also loved the fact that it wasn’t a crowded city. And the vibe was very chill and relaxing.

We went to Toyota Museum.
We went to Toyota Museum. The trip was convenient as always with JR pass but it was a bit far and the transfers or going to other train lines and stations makes it difficult and confusing. Nagoya is a nice and quiet place to stay. If you want to be away from the busy City life then Nagoya is right for you.

We spent 2 days and 1 night in Nagoya. It was perfect for walking around the city, visiting the palace and gardens on the first day, and exploring Ghibli Park on the second. Two days was the ideal amount of time for our planned activities

We didn’t stay very long in Nagoya, just one night.
We didn’t stay very long in Nagoya, just one night. But I will skip the city in future trips to Japan. I’m hopeful that other parts of Nagoya are better than the part we stayed in, but I didn’t like the night life in our area. The daytime seemed fine.

Clean, spacious room, washer/dryer facilities. Very good location.
For other travellers: hotel is at Taiko-dori side which is nearer to shinkansen. If you are coming from Meitetsu airport train, walk into Nagoya Station - Sakura-dori then follow signs to JR shinkansen which will bring you to Taiko-dori. Exit, turn right and follow the path to traffic junction and cross the road towards Lawson, turn left, you will see the hotel ahead (white building). From our experience, this is the easiest way to the hotel.
The food here is amazing, with dishes that will leave you wanting more. And guess what? They offer free, unlimited drinks too! Plus, it's super convenient, just near Nagoya Station, making it easy to get to. And if you want to chill after your meal, you can connect to Netflix. It's the perfect place to enjoy great food, drinks, and entertainment all in one spot.
About 8 mins walk from Nagoya station. Many restaurants across the street (柳橋). Room is spacious. Free drinking machine all day available. Light breakfast is provided, including 1 selection of bread & 1 juice/ energy bar. You can eat anytime. The main entrance is under renovation, does not affect the quality of the hotel.
