Breakfast included variety of dishes. No traffic to get food. Nice. Everything was under control by hotel’s staff including shuttle to the lift at no cost. No issues. Great help in renting ski equipment. Transport came to the hotel, brought to rent place and return at no cost. I do recommend to rent equipment from Alex. Hotel works with him, he is the best in Gudauri , a professional ski sportsman and nice person. All staff speak good English. Owner always in the hotel and looking after service and guests. Hotel has medical kit in case if any first aid help is needed. Very well arranged place for guests to enjoy. There are always two restaurants opened in the hotel, one on ground floor includes wines from local winery. Nice

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet even the most basic expectations, particularly considering the high price charged for what was, at best, a subpar experience.
The cleanliness of the hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms were not only dirty but also cramped and poorly maintained. It was clear that the standards of housekeeping and overall maintenance were well below what is acceptable, especially for a hotel marketed as a 4-star establishment.
Additionally, the staff were far from professional, which further compounded the issues. There was a noticeable lack of attention to guest needs, and the level of service was not reflective of the rates charged.
The building itself is in poor condition, and the overall ambiance felt more in line with a 1- or 2-star hotel, not one that claims to be 4 stars. Given the quality of the accommodations and service, the prices charged are at least four times what this hotel truly offers.
I trust you will take this feedback seriously to address the many issues that need improvement. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality or value.

Location good, comfy place . on the main road and it’s 5 min walking from the ski lift 🚠and a lot of ski rentals it has restaurants little souvenirs stores and supermarket walking distance. "marshrutka” to Tbilisi Stops in the restaurant in front of the hotel it was really difficult to know the schedule but there was one at 11 am so you know 😋 ksenia at the reception She was very attentive and helpful

Cons - being a ski resort this town is quite expensive. Most people only want to deal in cash. Very few people speak English (most speak Georgian or Russian); and there is nothing to do after skiing ends post 5PM.

CONS:
A lot of poorly educated entitled Russians (and tourists from India). They will cut in line at the queue, or hit you on the slopes. Sometimes it can soil your experience in Gudauri.
The staff doesn't know how to properly maintain the ski slopes. Even in 100cm of snow there were a lot of areas with rocks protruding from the ski piste or areas with rocks mixed with the snow. We totaled our skis in 9 days skiing.
A lot of tourist traps. But, if you learn fast, you can get to a point were you can avoid most of them.

I traveled to Gudauri with my family of two, and we rented a vehicle from Localrent, which was incredibly easy. We visited during the Christmas season in December when the area was covered in snow. Most places were beautifully illuminated with Christmas lights and decorations.
In Gudauri, you can find everything you need, including ski equipment, groceries, money exchanges, and many food stalls. In the evening, the area near the ski slopes transforms into a winter wonderland, offering a scenic view of the surrounding mountains and the sparkling Christmas lights from nearby shops.

All of the staff were amazing, Slava especially is so so helpful and makes you feel so welcome and is always on hand to try and make your stay better. The hotel itself is so lovely and we loved the quirky decor and style, it’s super clean and well maintained. Only a short drive (2 minutes) to the Shino ski lift and not far from New Gudauri where there are shops etc. the Ati Ambavi restaurant is rated the best in Gudauri and is exceptional, you don’t even need to go eat elsewhere! We will definitely be back next year!
The hotel was very near and walking distance to the SKI area and restorants but no need to go out because the hotel has its own restaurant that serves delicious food and affordable compared to other resto, the hotel location is perfect for the mountain view. We would like to thank you George the owner of the hotel who personally meet us during the check in and made sure that everything we need is ok. He is very helpful and friendly. The appartment is very nice. The location is very central in New Gudauri and close to all facilitys as well as the Ski resort. The view from the room and balcony is amazing. I can only recommend to book this apartment for Ski vacations in Gudauri. The host was very nice. Handing over the keys and responding to questions was fast, friendly and professional.
