Bakuriani in late December is a great place for skiing.
Bakuriani in late December is a great place for skiing. The snow-capped mountains and landscape is amazing. There was at least 60-70 cm of snow at the end of December. It becomes thicker later in January and February.
I stayed in Bakuriani for 2 nights. On the first day, I went skiing and snowmobiling at the 25 Ski Park. On the second day, I went to Alpine Coaster in Didveli (Didveli Toboggan) and Borjomi.
I suggest you stay in Bakuriani and use it as a base to do winter activities in various ski resorts and visit Borjomi. There is frequent connectivity between Bakuriani and Tbilisi by Marshrutkas.

Very nice and quiet village beside the mountains.
Very nice and quiet village beside the mountains. Looks like a perfect space to rest between skiing or snowboarding experiences. We've stayed just for a couple of days fo Christmas and it feels that we could have several more to walk around and go to the mountains. A week or so should do.

In winter, there are plenty of family-friendly activities available, perfect if you have kids. You'll find various accommodation options and great restaurants to enjoy. Definitely worth a visit. One drawback is that some locations have incorrect Google Map coordinates, causing confusion.

The fresh air, the high mountains, the rivers, the forests in a combination of green and yellow colors and the endless nature and silence around. Very reminiscent of our trips in the Austrian, Bavarian and Swiss Alps.

Just perfect place! Einfach perfect! Po prostu super! Brand new bilding, Very clean. Location Bakuriani downtown. Everything is very close. Right across the street perfect restaurant MIMINO with amazing georgian food! High reconded spot. Very good kitchen items. You will fiel like at your own home :-) Bilding brand new with elevator. The apartment is kind of studio, for max 4 person. With balcony and nice moutain view. Washmashin, fridge, and many other things are availeble. High recomendet spot.
Apartment is located close the skiing track, cable car and ice skating spot. There's swimming pool in Crystal hotels (which you should pay separately). There's TV in big room and second TV in bedroom. Fridge and washing machine.
Checking in and out was supper easy.
