I loved Sesimbra and had an enjoyable relaxing few days.
I loved Sesimbra and had an enjoyable relaxing few days. Beaches are very nice, restaurants are great, and it's fun to visit the castle - walking up and/or down if you're in the mood! I imagine it gets pretty crowded in the summer months but September was perfect.

Actually it was Alfarim which is a lovely Portuguese village outside Sesimbra with at least 5 places to eat. They often have a fiesta with music in the evening. Local music and locals dancing away. Great fun. No British anywhere. No English spoken here or on menus, all very Portuguese.

Very quiet and small resort.
Very quiet and small resort. Ideal for a short relaxing getaway.
My friend described it as a hidden treasure of Portugal.
Plenty of seafood restaurants which were outstanding. If you like to shop this is not the place to go.

A super location, good beaches, the sea front fish restaurants are overpriced, but quality is good , look further back from the seafront for more reasonable pricing. Go see the castle, excellent views, go to Setubal and Cabo Espichel. Wine farms nearby too.
I absolutely loved everything. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious and the view breathtaking. The staff so friendly and accommodating
The hotel is literally on the beach. So caught up in the present moment that forgot taking photos of the room, but we found it identical to the photos shown on the website. Flawless!
The hotel is excellent, the room is spacious and modern, the bed is very comfortable. As an added plus we had a view of the ocean from the balcony. The breakfast is excellent, one of the best I've ever had!
And let's not forget the swimming pool, where you can sit and relax just wishing the day would never end!
I liked the flat. Cosy, clean, absolutely everything you need, the flat is spacious and cosy. Amazing view from the balcony, I think one of the best views in Sesimbra. The owner is a very nice person, always in touch, helps on any question. The best impressions of the holiday there. Recommended
The house itself was clean and had all the neccesarry items needed to maintain it were included. The interiors are cozy and really make you feel like you are in Portugal. The hosts were friendly and introduced us to the house.
