We had an amazing and relaxing experience, from the beautiful bedroom overlooking on trees, to the excellent breakfast, to the dinner at the restaurant. We loved the styling and decoration of the hotel. And the location was perfect. The hotel oversees some beautiful landscapes, and it’s only a 15min walk from the entrance of the Veluwe park. We came here for the Kroller Moller museum and loved the region a lot.

The house was in the garden of the owner nestled away in the trees and secluded from the other small properties in the large garden. The house had a full kitchen, lounge and the most fantastic shower area we've seen, it's worth going just for this. The location near the country park and Van Gogh Museum was handy. We were cycling and the area around the park and down to Arnhem was perfect, also there was a place to lock the bikes at night indoors. Car park for us was only 20metres from the house. Village of Otterlo was close by for shops & cafes.

Location is fantastic. The place itself is very well taken care off. Everything you need is there. The outdoor patio was lovely as well as the huge picnic table outside to have dinner and breakfast. Even on rainy days you could comfortably sit outside on the patio and also at the big dining table indoors. Bedrooms and beds were super comfortable and kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. Having two bedrooms on floor level close to the washroom was great for anyone who has difficulty with steep stairs. It's a fabulous place for max. 7 people. We would go back there!

Hotel location is perfect for visiting the Kröller-Müller Museum and bike ride in National park, which is very beautiful. The hotel is very comfortable with excellent spa (sauna, steam-room, pool...). Breakfast is very good an affordable. Restaurant is excellent but you have to pre-book regular dinner ahead of time - it was fully booked when we were staying and we had dinners in bar area, comfortable but less fancy.

A visit to the the Kroller Muller Museum in Otterlo is...
A visit to the the Kroller Muller Museum in Otterlo is highly recommended! Aside from a great collection of fine art, there are also beautiful sculptures scattered around the huge property grounds. Its a very beautiful place both outside and inside. This is a must visit when going to the Netherlands.

Otterlo - being one of the entrances into the Hoge Veluwe...
Otterlo - being one of the entrances into the Hoge Veluwe National Park is exactly what you would expect from a town with about 2000 inhabitants. It has everything you would expect: A well-stocked super market, a few other shops, a handful of restaurants. While it is served with bi-hourly buses from nearby NS stops Ede, Arnhem and Barneveld, if you go anywhere Hoge Veluwe you will need a car.

We went to the museum and on forest walks - the 'otterlose bos - jeneverbessenbos ' walk is really lovely. Otterlo & its shops is closed on a sunday, so come prepared. Overall very friendly & beautiful surroundings

The Kröller-Müller museum with its sculpture park is a pearl...
The Kröller-Müller museum with its sculpture park is a pearl as is the surrounding park where you can see around on free rental bikes ("white bikes"). A deser-like landscape with sand dunes and dead trees in the middle of a perfectly normal forest - a bit otherwordly.

Beautiful small village with, we had amazing time there. We chosed this place due its entrance into National Park, where we spent lovely day. We enjoyed the local restaurant, where we had fantastic food. I only wish we stayed there for more days than we did. Definitely woul love to go back,
We loved our stay here! Amazing atmosphere. Arrived took the lodge and immediately felt relaxed. The decor was very thoughtful, there was nice music playing, and the place smelled amazing. The room was cozy with a private terrace. Enjoyed watching the stars by the wood fire at night. It’s lodged in the forest and felt very peaceful. We visited to celebrate our birthdays and the hotel staff surprised us with cake :) We only stayed for one night and came home feeling rested as if we had been on holiday for several days.

The house is located on the edge of a forest near Otterlo and is a superb place to stay, so peaceful and with a lovely garden. Very close to Het Hoge Veluwe park and to a small shopping centre. The host was exceptionally kind and helpful. We would be delighted to stay much longer.
It's a surprisingly modern holiday home: Both the kitchen equipment as well as the furniture and general look are up to an apartment in the city It's quiet in a good way (mostly - a bit of garden work was going on during my stay), and a short walk from Otterlo itself!
