The location is great - it is located very centrally, near lots of interesting restaurants and shops. Easily accessible from the train station (about 10 minutes walk). There is a Nespresso machine in the room, and although the capsules provided are some different brand, it is still better than instant coffee.

Nijmegen is a town with a lot of history, the Old Town with its buildings and the park with the various ancient Towers and Church is definitely worth a visit. I also recommend a walk along the River Bank. It also has a wide variety of places to eat, to suit every taste and pocket, also lovely areas to sit and relax drinking a coffee.

Nijmegen is great for a stroll through the historic town centre with its nice shops and lots of places where to eat and drink. There are also many coffee places where to have breakfast or brunch, or where to taste some sweet cakes or pastries.

Nijmegen has a very interesting history.
Nijmegen has a very interesting history. Once a Roman settlement, and WWII target, ruins and buildings can be viewed and entered. River de Waal is omnipresent; often overflowing and changing the landscape.
Within minutes one can be immersed in nature and fully escape from the city in the Ooijpolder. Café Oortjeshekke is a must see -with storks in their nest to be seen from the room out the back. Great food, great staff!
Shopping in Nijmegen is easy as many fun, unique shops and cafes are found in abundance in Nijmegen. Everything is within walking distance. Several grand parks too!
Great for children.
Stevens kerk (church) was closed for most of our stay so we didn’t get a glimpse -even though it was an Easter holiday.
The market on the large square (Grote Markt) was lovely and café de Waagh is another iconic must see.
Don’t wear high heels -there’s large cobble stones everywhere!
The town’s bells ring every night at 9 -the way it did for centuries- to warn the people that the town’s gates were closing for the day. One truly can imagine what life was like 1000 years or so ago..
Restaurant Stevens was another highlight -great food, great prices.
Highly recommend Nijmegen!!

I absolutely loved staying in Nijmegen.
I absolutely loved staying in Nijmegen. It's an awesome combination of viby city life and town-like quaintness. The locals were all really friendly and it is very accessible to travelers as everyone can speak good English and seem happy to help were needed. It's very historic with lots of cultural attractions (many free to visit!) and easy to get around with a bicycle or by foot.

Enjoyed the restaurants and the atmosphere when out on the road walking and just wanted to relax when got back and walking was the easiest except there was too many people! The location of the Hotel was fantastic, next to Nijmegen's Railway Station and within very close walking distance to the center of the town, which proved very useful in exploring the areas. The Old Town, beautiful parks, the walk along the river bank and of course its shopping center.
The room and common areas were impeccably clean. The staff were very friendly, and very attentive to your needs at breakfast. Rooms are stylish, comfortable and nicely equipped. The hotel is virtually next door to Nijmegen city centre, but the street is very quiet.
A very nice hotel in the heart of Nijmegen. Small but comfortable room, quiet and well equipped (but still missing a refrigerator), in a historic house. Wonderful breakfast. I would stay here again in my next trip to the earliest town of Netherlands.
