First off, the hotel’s location is fantastic as it’s just walking distance to Tana Russet and town.
The hotel is noticeably new. The room is decent and clean. Having hot water and air conditioning were a plus for a cheap price. The only thing that’s missing in the room is a full length mirror.
Roof top has a great view for sunsets.
The hotel boasts a bar that's quite unique compared to others in Port Vila. It has a sophisticated atmosphere and also offers karaoke for some extra fun!
The staff are very welcoming and always greet you with a smile, especially Bella at the reception.
On the third floor, you'll find the restaurant, where the chef provides an excellent range of dishes. He’s also open to special food requests, which I really appreciate. His willingness to tailor the dining experience to individual preferences enhances the overall quality of the meal.
I would have given this place a rating higher than 10 if I could. I’ll definitely come back here in my next visit!

The staff were excellent! They did their best to cater to my queries, without making excuses. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes walk to town and surrounded by a lit of really good restuarants, bars, food court/cinema and a variety of shops. The New Zealand and American High Commission too are just 2 minutes walk away.

Use taxi from airport and for tours etc, resorts charge too much for activities and transfers. Have visited Port Vila numerous times in last 17 yrs and the people are always fabulously friendly.
Finding quality places to eat (outside the resorts) was very easy when asking locals and resort staff. But after this last fly in trip we will only return will be on cruises that go there.

Vanuatu is experiencing a recession after two cyclones,...
Vanuatu is experiencing a recession after two cyclones, COVID and the collapse of Air Vanuatu which makes inter-island travel very difficult. The local Ni-Van people are lovely but struggling. The cyclones and bleaching have meant the coral reefs are not as colourful on Efate as 10 years ago when I last visited. This was a lesson in not treating another country as a holiday destination but as somewhere where real people live out their lives, so local conditions need to be researched and their impact respected.

Our trip was a bit of a roller coaster , but overall we enjoyed our time there .
Highlights , 83 islands distillery tour was awesome . Mele beach bar great food , awesome staff and location and the fire show on Friday nights fantastic . Kids can swim at the beach , have a feed and watch the shoe -A+ . The markets were awesome as usual .
Low lights . We’ve been going to Vanuatu for over 20 yrs , and our recent trip to the cascades saddened us and emptied our wallets .
The current owners havnt maintained the place and the entry fee is extortion . The roads are next level knarly All 3 of our airport transfers were no shows which was disappointing but not the end of the world .
The people of Vanuatu are why we come back every time . They really are the friendliest people on earth .
Special shout out to Gideon and his family from Havanah eco lodge .
They treated us like family and we had a great time over there .

Port Villa is heaven on earth, I have been there 3 times and will always go back, with all the natural disasters this island goes through people are still so friendly and happy all the time, they live a simple life and always have a reason to smile, i strongly advise visiting the locals as it much better than staying in the resorts, the rivers , lagoons and beachs are surreal and its all so clean, the locals will always say hello and help you with anything you need.
There are plenty of taxis to go around, I would stay away from resorts for food and go into town as the resorts are extremely expensive and the town prices are so much cheaper.

Fresh food and souvenir markets were very well maintained.
Fresh food and souvenir markets were very well maintained. Indeed the waterfront esplanade area was attractive apart from the toilets behind the stage set up for MAC festival which had a $1.00 AU entry fee. Our trip on the coral viewing boat was worthwhile. The Museum was a great disappointment especially given the high entry fee and the seeming lack of curatorial care in presenting historical perspectives such as WW2 events and impacts of colonisation.
We recently stayed at Nasama for the first few days of our trip to Vanuatu. The location was great being a little further out of town, but easy to get into town if needed. We only went to town to buy supplies while we were there. It’s also a short walk to other resorts if you feel like mixing it up for dinner or lunch. The snorkelling right by the resort was great, and the pool was great as well. We were lucky to get a beach side apartment with a great view and lots of privacy. Was a great start to our trip.
Garden Faare was comfortable, bed good size and comfy. Shower great but bathroom needed an update.
Location was lovely. 15 minutes by “B” bus to Port Vila. Buses run frequently and cheap (150vtu pp o/w)
Pool was very inviting but on the cool side….it was ‘winter’
Grounds were very well maintained
Food was good
Accommodation located in a great spot with a seaview just on the edge of the main town, Port Vila. Handy for vars, restaurants, access to the water and shops and not far from the airport. It's just up a hill so helps with the views. Staff members were friendly. Room felt secure.
Amazing place. Maybe the best accomodation you can get in Vanuatu for that price. The owner us super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. There's also a washing machine and a fully equiped kitchen I could use. Everything is spotless clean. I recommend the place 100%
Beautiful location and rooms. Very quiet. Could be anywhere in the world, not a pro or a con, but the staff make it a Vanuatu experience. Massages were great, pool ticked the box and rooms luxurious.
