The view from my cottage was amazing, the mountains range in front is untouched. This was the best ever view I have ever experienced from the luxurious, tastefully done cottages.
The peaceful afternoons, the music of the birds and trail to the nearby waterfall is something that will stay with me.
We enjoyed the Garhwali thali, loved the fact that some vegetables were cut from the garden after our order. The food spread was great which above our expectations.
We stayed for 6 Nights. We checked in the night around 8:00 pm.
Day 1- Trek to Gurson Bugiyal in the day and evening at the resort with Amazing Gharwali Thali.
Day 2- Trail to the nearby Village, visited the small the water body near the village temple. Lazy evening gazing the stars.
Day 3- Badrinath and Trek to Vasudhara Falls, this is an easy trek with a great view.
Day 4- Relaxed in the resort, listening to the music of the birds around with a bon fire in the evening.
Day 5- Again Bored ourself in our lovely cottage at the resort.
I would love to visit again in the winters hoping to catch the snow and try my hands on skating.

Loved the location of the hotel. Close to the parking and taxi stand. Very close to govind ghat market and the gurudwara. The owner was very polite and acoomodating. Highly recommended.

We visited in March, when the Yatra season has not begun. There was a lot of snow around Joshimath. Auli was full of snow and skiing was still ON. The ski chair-lift from Auli to No. 8 is a thrilling ride and offers mindblowing views. View of Nandadevi, Dronagiri, Hathi-Ghoda-Palki peaks from No. 8 is astounding.
Joshimath was also an uplifting spiritual place. Adi Shankaracharya's Mut and Narsingh temple were extremely peaceful and set in a beautiful location. Cable car ride to No. 8 starts from Joshimath, which offers astounding views of the mountains too.
There are numerous hikes near Auli and Joshimath. Tapovan hot water springs are an hours drive away.
