The hotel is in a beautiful location, the rooms are brand new, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. Despite the cold December in Ilulissat, we stayed warm and cozy in this comfortable hotel, with an excellent breakfast and a great price. The young woman at the reception was very friendly, and the airport shuttle was very convenient. It's a shame we couldn't try the restaurant, which has great reviews, as it was closed. I hope to return one day.

Marine the receptionist was lovely and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Location was very good walkable to everywhere you needed to get, and the hotel arranged there. own pick up for me at the airport. Breakfast was decent albeit over the road

Everything about Whaletours appartments is exceptional. We were met by Karen and Claus, who were superbly friendly and went above and beyond to help us stay comfortable. The accommodation was top quality, and brand new, as well as well equipped.
We arrived to stay both at the start and end of a 10 day sea kayak expedition, which included a lot of equipment. They were exceptionally helpful in accommodating for this. As one of our client fell ill before the trip they went above and below the call of duty, helping with longer accommodation options and even activities in our absence.
I will 100% stay again, and couldn't praise Claus and Karen higher for their hospitality.

The host was very friendly and helped us book a taxi to the airport when we left. The entire house was comfortable and tidy, and we absolutely loved it. On our last night, we even saw the Northern Lights from the rooftop. This is the best place we’ve stayed during all our travels.

Ilullisat is absolutely worthy in a trip to Greenland. We have never seen such huge icebers. There are good options to trail in the area (Yellow Trail is the easiest one although is not such easy as it may seen). You move everywhere walking although taxi is not an expensive option. "I love Ilullisat tours" offers very good boat tours. Hangout Bistro is a restaurant with good options for dinner or lunch.

Ilulissat is a city providing all services for tourists what the arctic can offer. Tour guides and equipment for hiking on the ice, flying over it or visit it from the sea. Watching the amazing whales and the breathtaking experience of calving of the glaciers can be accessed from Ilulissat. would strongly recommend Cafe Inuit for their kind service and for the delicious food which offers not only greenlandic but asian treats.

Absolutely gorgeous with the Icebergs, Ice Fjord, glaciers, the seals and whales, calving of ice, kayaking, the wonderful people and the homely feel of Ilulissat. This has been one of the best places in the world that we have visited.

the hotel is perfectly located in the centre, close and convenient for all shops, cafes, supermarket and the tour agencies!
the staff were always friendly and welcoming, good clear communication beforehand on arranging transport, and were quick to help out with luggage storage and airport taxis.
the breakfast variety was great, but even better were the views from the breakfast room and the outside balcony...perfect for a first-time view over the city!
This hotel creates a warm atmosphere with its familiar and friendly staff. The breakfast is varied and great. The rooms are cozy with a little kitchen. The view over the Disko Bay is every morning different depended on the morning light. If we come back to Greenland, we will be back here in the hotel immediately.
It was a nice place and I would recommend it. Not your usual hotel obviously as it is in Greenland. Cute small room with everything you need to keep you warm and cosy after a day of hiking. It's very nice to have breakfast included!
