A perfect place for us, we were a group of 7 riding scooters and the use of the large garage was very reassuring. The staff were grerat and the rooms were clean. The outside space was perfect for us all to gather outside of our rooms. Perfectly situated in the centre of Ypres and only about 100 meters from the Menin Gate. No issues at all and highly reccomended.

Beautiful, quiet city with so much history! The people were lovely, the food was divine and the beer was fantastic! The Menin Gate ceremony is poignant and moving, would highly recommend. We would love to return again as just wandering around and seeing the city was relaxing.

It’s a historical place to visit.
It’s a historical place to visit. The world war 1 museum Flanders Fields is very well done. All is in walking distance close to each other. Don’t forget to go for a walk upon the medieval city defense walls from the Menen port to the Rijsel poort. Where you encounter a small cemetery.
The market square is full of restaurants and bars.
But we ate at the fonderie restaurant at walking distance from the centre. A local tip we received!!!
In addition there are 2 golfclubs in Ieper. Palingbeek is the biggest and most beautiful one located on the Ieper bow defense line of the allied forces in 1914-1918..

Ypres is a great place with a friendly atmosphere and lots to do and see. It has a compelling history and would make the best introduction to the history of the first world war for anyone. The museums locally are excellent.8
The hotel was right in the centre of Ypres and the square. The hotel was on a side street and only a few steps from the square. My host was very kind and she sourced gluten free bread for my breakfast.
Good clean hotel in the centre on Ypres - literally 100m from the cloth hall and centre. We were motorcycling and the staff member asked if we wanted to store our bikes in the garage.
The hotel is situated a few miles from the centre of Ypres and next to the Hooghe crater. The older part has character and the new section is modern and clean with air conditioning.
