It was a lovely quiet room, very nicely decorated. The bathroom was wonderful and warm too. The beach was right outside, which was perfect for our dog too! I had a noisy room first but was changed to a perfect one after I asked.

Charming and relaxing beach destination within easy reach of Hamburg. The weather happened to be nice during my stay, but it looks like it would still be an enjoyable destination if the weather wasn’t so sunny or warm. Local people were friendly and welcoming, and I learned interesting things about the region.
There are a variety of places to eat, catering to higher end fine dining as well as more humble restaurants. I had a beautiful meal on the deck at Restaurant Rendezvous, as well as a delicious casual meal from the little takeaway huts along the marina. Cafe Ahoi coffee is a decent coffee option, and the bakery Bäckerei Seßelberg Niendorfwas also very good. Gift shop Snabbelsnuut was great with unique and affordable good quality items locally sourced with friendly helpful service, and Lambert Studio has a great selection of lovely homewares, with friendly and knowledgeable customer service.

A really nice hotel with big clean rooms, nice beds and friendly staff. They have a great breakfast and a lots of facilities, like a beautiful pool area, sauna, two gaming room for kids and two restaurants. A garage space was reserved for us, which was great as we came by car.
Apartment has lots of space and a very big terrace/garden. It is very clean and well equipped including floor heating. It is also conveniently located near the central square of Timmendorfer strand.
The breakfast was excellent. The hotel was situated perfect, close to the sea and close to the restaurants. Really nice that you got a bottle of wine in the rooms.
