this small hotel is located in a beautiful spot on the lake. we came in winter, but i would hope we could come again in summer - to swim and enjoy the surroundings better. the reem was very spacious and comfortable. the breakfast was great. our dog enjoyed a beautiful walk near by. we loved this place and warmly recommend it.

Very nice breakfast buffet. There were Lovely books to browse through, and a view of the lake behind Plön. The bed was comfortable, good pillows. The bath was clean and had everything we needed.

Keys very easy to collect - had a few issues opening the front door but a neighbour kindly helped (pull the door towards you) and the host contacted me. Building is nice and quiet with lovely views.

Arriving with a big Labrador after 5 hrs in the car this was the dream hotel. Outdoor fields for our dog to run and roam, lovely lake for human and doggy swims together (at the bottom of the field away from the hotel is a small secluded beach - perfect!).
Dinner in restau was simple but so good. Wine list was great. Breakfast was faultless.
A place I know we will come back to.
A hidden Gem. Could not have imagined a prettier place in this pretty lake side town of Plön. Everything in walking distance. Few hundred steps from the train station. House was very well equipped with full kitchen with all the essentials. Complimentary wine and chocolates were a bonus
Mrs. Grossmann (landlord). is a kind and pleasant person. Room with beautyfull look to the Plöner See. Quite and generous room even for rainy days in winter.
